Thank the shopping gods for Sportsgirl, eh? Although Balmain hysteria has somewhat died off lately, it's still nice to know you can get a piece of the action at a fraction of the cost. I was delighted to spy this encrusted military jacket in store recently for a reasonable $199.95. It's one of those perfect throw on pieces that won't look out of place worn with jeans and a tee (à la Beyonce) or with a more evening look thanks to its embellishment. The mid-weight fabric lends itself to those trans-seasonal "is it hot or cold" evenings, and the full sleeve ensures your whole top half is kept nice and toasty. This jacket defines power dressing, I say buy now and stash away for the cooler months ahead.
Dreading going into a store at the moment, but really want to nab yourself a bargain? Too easy! Fab's done all the hard work for you, trawling through all the very best online stores to bring you the ultimate sale picks (I know, I know, tough job but someone has to do it). Here you'll find a great mix of high and low fashion, saving you cash and all the leg work. There really is no excuse not to shop at the moment. Enjoy!
How pretty is the colour coral? I'm quite a fan, buying everything from nail polish to bikinis in the Summery hue this season. It instantly puts a smile on my dial and looks great with a Summer glow, dontcha think? You can imagine my excitement when I came across another way to add coral to my life recently - this time, in the form of a lightweight cotton blazer. I love when your wardrobe basics get seasonally updated - it certainly makes more sense than adding basic Winter black to everything. This little number from Bardot retails for $129.95 and is the perfect throw on piece. I'm already planning how many outfits I can add a splash of colour to and mix and match with it. In fact, I have every reason to believe that this coral blazer could very well change my entire wardrobe's life. Suddenly, last season's floral dresses and my basic white tee and jeans combos don't seem so bad when updated with this little burst of sunshine. Ah, retail therapy - you've done it again.

When I'm after a quick shoe fix, I always head to Wittner. Their huge range offers a mix of the latest trends at affordable prices, often meaning that you can stock up on a few pairs at a time. So if, like me, you wake up some mornings thinking "I'd love to buy some Jimmy Choo style shoes for less", (what? you don't have those dreams?) then you're in luck! I've spied some Choo-esque heels online that will make all your dreams come true.. well mine, anyway.
Welcome to my Score of the Week, where I introduce you to my latest chain store purchase/obsession/addiction.
A bolero is the perfect trans-seasonal jacket. Cropped enough to be lightweight, yet warm enough for unexpected cold snaps, it really is a wardrobe essential. I'm glad I discovered this square leather version by Topshop, as it seems to tick all the right boxes for my winter-to-summer dressing. I'll be teaming this with a worn in tee and jeans for day, or a simple LBD and heels for night. Coming in at just under $270, It's the perfect way to make a statement without blowing the budget.
What's the latest piece you've bought from a chain store?
