I never took Gwynnie for an Elie Saab girl, I must admit. I'm not sure if it's because I'm used to seeing her in daring mini dresses and modern rather than classic styles, but there's something about this evening dress she chose for the Laureus World Sports Awards in Abu Dhabi that looks a bit...off. Don't get me wrong, I adore Gwyneth's style and think this dress is ultra pretty, but I'm not sure if it's her best red carpet moment. Too safe, too pageant-ish, too....beige. What do you think?

As expected, Chanel drew quite the impressive front row crowd. Lindsay Lohan, Vanessa Paradis, and of course, our fave British lady Alexa Chung. Check out her quirky-chic combo of a classic tweed jacket, floaty white blouse, black mini and adorable Chanel basket bag. Only Alexa could really get away with this. She's finished off the look with sheer polka-dot tights and patent ankle boots. Are you a fan?

Well wasn't yesterday a whirlwind of red carpet fun! I'm still struggling with the fact that it's the last awards show we'll be seeing in a while — sniff! To ease the pain I've taken a walk through all our Rate It and Hate It polls to give my final verdict on all the best and not-so-best dresses. It's a toughie this year as quite a few impressed but not a lot dazzled, you know? Luckily I've had your trusty help with my polls to help me along with my choices. Here are your top five best and worst from last night's Oscars.
Best:

Yep, Kristen Stewart topped the list! You guys are either major Twi-Hards or just love a bit of midnight blue Monique Lhuillier. On the other hand, the following peeps didn't rate so highly.
Worst:

Poor Charlize, looks like it wasn't just me who didn't dig the whole rose/bust/lilac vibe she had happening on her Christian Dior gown. Looks like we'll have to agree to disagree with our final lists though folks, as I'll be posting a very different kind of Best and Worst soon. Stay tuned!
Cameron Diaz hiked up the hemline a few inches for her post-Oscars party frock. She swapped her Oscar de la Renta sparkle gown for something similar in colour but sleeker in style. I love the glitter-style fabric and pencil shape — it works well for her hot-to-trot figure. Her black accessories and lack of jewels all complement this sassy look. You lovin'?

J-Lo swapped her Armani Prive white gown for something a little sleeker last night, turning up to the Vanity Fair Oscars party in this black cut-out dress with feathered shoulder detail. Unlike other stars who opted for shorter lengths and more party-friendly styles, Jen kept things equally as glam for the evening's festivities. I must say, this look really suits her. It's simple, sexy and elegant. Are you feeling it?

The ol' switcheroo, eh? Anna Kendrick swapped her blush-toned gown for something a little more fun when it came to after party time. She chose this white feathered mini dress which had an incredible lace panel around the neckline for the Vanity Fair soirée. Her look is topped off with a little bracelet bling and Alexander McQueen peep toe heels. Fun! What do you think?

Milla Jovovich always looks like she's had a lot of fun putting her outfit together, and because of that, I'm a huge fan of her style. Amongst all the serious gowns and dramatic trains, it's so refreshing to see someone with innate style work an individual look. She chose a patchwork style mini dress, black opaques and piled on necklaces for the 18th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Party. I'm sure this isn't a look for everyone but I kinda dig it. Quirky chic if you will! What do you think of it?

You can always count on Heidi Klum to show a bit of leg in a bedazzled red carpet look! She chose to bypass the official ceremony this year and instead, opted to catch all the glamour at the 18th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Party. She looks gorgeous and her body is beyond incredible after having four kids, but I would have preferred some larger jewel detailing rather than the beauty-pageant style diamantes on the neckline. Still, she looks like a major hottie. Thoughts?

OK, so they're not identical, but these two Armani Prive gowns are pretty darn close! I always wonder how this happens — surely designers would give a heads up to celebrities wearing similar style dresses on the red carpet? Amanda and J-Lo's gowns both boast the same bubble-wrap style fabric and icy colours, the only noticeable difference is Jennifer's detailed bustline and extra ruffles at the waist. So curious! Let's have it now, which Armani gown do you prefer for tonight's Oscars?
Oscar nominee Meryl Streep wore a beautiful white wrap gown by US Project Runway alum Chris March. The low cut neckline adds just the right amount of sexy to her sophisticated look. Chunky earrings, a bold bangle, a beaded clutch, and silver sandals are her accompaniments of choice. Meryl just gets better with age! Do you like her white-hot ensemble?
