Red alert! Natalie Portman matched the red carpet whilst promoting her new film, Black Swan, at the Venice Film Festival last night. Nat wore a Rodarte dress, which makes sense given the label also designed costumes for the movie, which boasted some heavenly draping and jewelled embellishment on the front and back.
Keri Russell brought a little colour to the red carpet tonight, opting for a bright pink vintage Scherrer halter dress. She finished the look with a gold clutch and matching Jimmy Choo sandals, with earrings and a hair piece adding floral accents. Um, I think poor Kerri must have mistaken the Emmys for a Hawaiian Luau party, don't you?
Oh, no! This is one of those 'when bad clothes happen to good people' moments which I've been dreading. I love Emily Blunt, and I usually appreciate her red carpet choices, but this time round, I'm just not so sure.

Her Marchesa textured mini dress is smokin' hot, and teamed with ruby and diamond Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Christian Louboutin pumps, the look is, to quote Alex Perry, expensive.

Dianna Agron chose her tried and trusted fave designer, Carolina Herrera, for her first-time Emmys this year. It's a romantic tiered lace number which is quite the princess-style gown. I can imagine a lot of girls will ohhh and ahhh at this pretty style, but I'm finding it way too frou-frou for such a hot young thing.
Wouldn't you just want to shimmy all night in this Armani Privé gown? The champagne sparkled dress fits Claire's bod like a glove, and she's cleverly kept her jewels to a minimum to let the dress shine. It's fuss-free but not plain, fitted but flattering, and neutral without being boring.
We've been anxiously awaiting January Jones's red carpet appearance — and she doesn't disappoint. The actress chose a bold, futuristic Versace that wows with allover metallic shimmer, corseted style, and full train. It's a dramatic look that needs few accompaniments; a pair of black pumps and a white cocktail ring complete the look.
