The Pre-Fall 2011 collections have been trickling in, and we love getting a sneak peek at what designers may do for their A/W shows which kick off in February. We saw Stella McCartney's chic Pre-Fall offerings yesterday, and have already sussed out what trends to expect this year, but it seems the best collections were saved til last. Proenza Schoulers's zippy knits, Cèline's modernist colour splicing, Emilio Pucci's bold brights and some seriously luxe separates from Louis Vuitton have gone and gotten us excited about Pre-Fall all over again. Flick through to see the cream on the crop from these seriously cool collections.
I love the way fashion seasons work. In the midst of Summer we're seeing what's in store for Winter, and although it can create some annoying but-I-want-to-wear-my-wool-poncho-in-30-degree-heat conundrums, it also means we always have something to look forward to (hello Pre-Fall '11!). Take Stella McCartney. She's just previewed her Autumn 2011 line in New York (like, only a few hours ago), and it's making me want the weather to turn cold already — crazy, I know! Mind you, wrap your eyeballs around her lusher-than-lush camel coats, spliced statement knit jumpers and sharp edged suiting and you may just agree with me. Winter, anyone?
