Fashion's coolest cat, Chloë Sevigny, has made no secret for her love of bright orange lipstick. She reportedly wears Mac Cosmetics' Lady Danger — the perfect coral, orange-red. Today is Chloë's 39th birthday (we had to double check that because she looks so good!), and we're celebrating by paying homage to her bright orange lip obsession. Care to join?

With 2014 Spring Fashion Month having wrapped up last week, we're inundated with gorgeous new beauty trends to try — but none are making quite as much noise as this one. Spotted on runway courtesy of the likes of John Galliano and DSquared2, the vibrant colour made this trend impossible to ignore. Why? The benefits are two-fold: slick on a few layers and it's bold and statement-making; swipe over the lips once and you have yourself a sheer peach tint that can take you through from day to night. A couple of weeks ago we explored orange's more feminine party pal, fuchsia, but this week it's all about tangerines, mandarins and that sunkissed Summer vibe. Click through to see our top 10 picks!

This week, we're focusing on our lips, and pairing them with a complementary eye — click through to see which colours and products we're loving this week, and happy racing!

Orange lipstick was one of the top trends at New York Fashion Week for Spring 2014, but Nicole Richie proves you can sport the tangerine lip colour now. Last night at the Nordstrom Opening Gala, Nicole wore a earthy-toned ensemble that inspired her makeup palette. Her eyes were flecked with gold shadow, while her cheeks were warmed up with a bronze tone, and the pièce de résistance was her red-orange lipstick hue. The colour was a touch deeper than the shades we saw on the Prabal Gurung, Rag & Bone, and Marissa Webb (pictured above) runways. Consider this the Spring trend to wear right now. Thanks, Nicole.

A popular show on the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia calendar, the makeup for Manning Cartell is headed-up by Max May for Mac Cosmetics. Max drew on both the top line collection colours and the cold, industrial feel of the Carriage Works venue. Hair took on a tribal feel thanks to ghd's Alan White, who used their newest straightening hero to take strands to new levels of sleek. Click through to see the action from backstage.
