Last year, we gave you the heads up on some exciting new designer collaborations coming up at Topshop, and now, it's time to say hello to the latest shoe offering. Louise Goldin's spiked heels (approx $300) will be hitting shops and online on 5th February. Louise explains the range: “The pastel colours and stones represent opulence and glamour; the studs give the shoes a very 'cool', tough edge.” They surely do! Alrighty, time to 'fess up and let us in on your Christmas holiday sale buys. Did you make like an eager beaver on Boxing Day and hit the shops at 5 am? Or did you cleverly avoid the rush and stock up on bargains online? I must admit, I did a bit of both. Department stores can be a scary place during the Summer holidays, but with some careful forward planning, I managed to avoid being trampled on by crazy shoppers waving their hands in the air (like they just don't care).

My yearly sale ritual always revolves around one pivotal section — lingerie. I always stock up on knickers and bras as you can really score yourself a bargain and spring clean your underwear drawer at the same time. I hit up Bonds, Pleasure State and Elle Macpherson Intimates for a range of comfy basics and pretty styles, saving up to 30% off the usual retail price. I also flirted with a few pieces on Net-a-Porter's sale section, nabbing myself an amazing See by Chloé sequin skirt for under $300! According to the tracking service, it should be ready and waiting for me by the time I get home this afternoon. Pass me a ventilator! Melbourne's Chadstone Shopping Centre welcomes Miu Miu to Australia! The first stand alone store to hit our shores, the label will be in good company at the luxe shopping centre with Chanel, Gucci and Louis Vuitton as neighbours.
