I didn't think anything could excite me more than Cadbury Creme Eggs this Easter, but clearly I was wrong. How adorable are these headbands by French label Benoît Missolin? Mag-ni-fique! I'm not one to really jump on the bunny-ears bandwagon, but heck, the Easter mood is starting to change my mind. The Benoît Missolin e-shop (oui, they ship to Australia!) is filled with cute embellished headbands perfectly suited to a day at the races, a wedding, or just for the fun of it. So French, so whimsy!

Trend Talk: FOUND! Beyonce's Mickey Mouse Sunglasses

Last week, we revealed the top Lady Gaga and Beyonce looks from their new Telephone video, but now I want to draw your attention to these sunglasses. If the Mickey Mouse-style frames look familiar, that's because Lady Gaga has worn them out and about recently, as well as in her Paparazzi video. They're part of the Linda Farrow X Jeremy Scott sunglasses collaboration and seem to be continuing on from the ol' bunny ears trend. Do you think these kooky shades will take off?

Craziest Trend of 2009: Bunny Ears

And you thought bunny ears were reserved for halloween parties and playboy stars! Oh no, as soon as Marc Jacobs introduced the Louis Vuitton headpieces on the runway for Fall '09, celebrities, chain stores and stylists all took note. And why wouldn't they? The playful ears are fashion's funnest accessory for a long time.

Madonna embraced the trend, wearing the ears to the 2009 Met Gala as well as part of her starring role in the Louis Vuitton ad campaign (you can check out the making of here, where Marc himself explains where the trend came from). The Olsens, Lady Gaga and Lily Allen also jumped on the bandwagon, choosing Maison Michel lace mesh ears to mix things up a bit. I know they're a little kooky, but bunny ears do add a certain je ne sais quoi to an outfit, making them perfect for our Craziest Trend of 2009 Award!

Are Minnie Mouse ears the new bunny ears? Vogue Germany seems to think so, featuring them on model Chanel Iman in their December issue. Shot by Mark Seliger, styling sees oversized bows, spots and checks add a playful edge to a somewhat serious location. Disneyland it ain't, but Minnie would be proud.
