Have you snooped around cool cat photographer Terry Richardson's blog lately? There are loads of fan sites around, but this one is the real deal, so take note and give it a click! Here you'll find awesome outtake shots of model mates Daria, Karlie and Miranda, famous faces including Lindsay Lohan, Marc Jacobs and Rachel Zoe, and fabulously fun self portraits of the quirky snapper.
It really does feel like you're having a snoop through his diary (minus the broken locket, and filled with a lot more real celebs.) Check out Terry's Diary, today!
Staring at what people wear is a favourite past time of mine...... did I just say that out loud?
It may sound shallow, but it's so interesting to see how different people put together outfits and interpret trends, and can often inspire you to take risks with your own wardrobe options. One girl whom I never tire of stalking is Australian model, blogger and photographer, Zanita Whittington.
Her blog, aptly titled, errr, Zanita, is a fabulous pictorial of her modelling and styling prowess. Often taking her own, self-styled photos, Zanita floats between high fashion trends and chain store chic, showcasing her latest purchases and re-worked pieces from her wardrobe.
What I love about Zanita's blog is her ability to give everyday pieces a quirky twist. Vintage denim teamed with a sheer blouse, sporty shorts with heels, neon and leather - nothing is off limits in her fashionsphere.
So in those moments when you wake up screaming "I have nothing to wear!", take a leaf from Zanita's book and get creative!
I don't know about you, but I certainly don't recall rocking up to school in knee high Ann Demeulemeester boots and a Yohji Yamamoto wrap vest. In fact, I'm pretty sure that as a teenager, I would have thought a Yamamoto was something I forgot to study in Biology.
Then again, Blogger Jane Aldridge is no ordinary 16 year old. Her popular site, Sea of Shoes, is a photographic journey into her wonderfully stylised wardrobe. Each day, Jane posts about her new purchases (being anything from new season Givenchy to Forever 21 t-shirts), and uses her hometown of Texas as a backdrop to some romantically beautiful, self styled photo shoots. The main focus, being hard to ignore, is her ever growing designer shoe collection. You name a season and designer, and you can bet that Jane has it. In three colours, no less.
It comes as no suprise to discover that Jane's equally stylish mother, Judy Aldridge, posts her own fashion purchases and shoots on her similar blog, Atlantis Home. Often shopping together and buying identical pieces, their different takes on outfits provides an insightful look into dressing for your age, shape and style. Together with their shoes, this mother/daughter combo is ruling the fashion world, one Alaia platform at a time.
What do you get when you mix a cute name, gorgeous graphics, romantic photos and drool worthy fashion? Possibly the world's cutest blogger, Alix, aka, The Cherry Blossom Girl. I've been lusting after this fashion blog for a while now and thought it was only fair to share her around.
As a freelance stylist, part time photographer, one time designer and accidental model, Alix's blog is a beautiful mesh of online shopping (I bought these heart print tights after seeing her wear them), fashion, art, and travel. Scroll through the countless photos to discover her quirky style, love of designer, vintage, and chain store pieces, as well as her recent collaborations with American Apparel (she modelled for them) and Chanel (is their Coco Cocoon bag ambassador). Life is indeed sweet for Mademoiselle Cherry.
I love perving on models. Clothed I mean. Especially clothed in fact. Models have that uncanny ability to wear the most fabulous fashion in front of the camera, then look equally as inspiring in their day to day offerings. Boo - how do they do that?
One of my favourite blogs at the moment is photography site altamira:models off duty. New York based photographer Craig Arend snaps models from all over the globe, in between doing what they do best. This is a model perve-fest where you'll find pics of Anja Rubik, Chanel Iman and just about anyone else ever to grace a catwalk, in their everyday get-up on the streets. Craig's comments fill you in on the model's agency, plus their latest ad campaigns and editorials, so stalking them, oops I mean following their career is mega easy.
I love the way their outfits really inspire you to think outside the box in terms of styling a look together. Their mismatch of high end designer, chain store chic and casual hair and makeup is something everyone can replicate with confidence (and it doesn't hurt if you happen to be the face of Chanel, either).
Obsessed already? Yup, I hear ya.
