Sore feet (and backs!) aside, fashion week left us with a tonne of new season inspiration. The big trends and hottest colours indicate that Spring/Summer 2013-'14 is going to be a very slick season, sartorially speaking, so I was keen to ask what pearlers from the runway made the most impact on our POPSUGAR editorial team. The actual threads may not be hitting stores until June/July, but that won't stop us from nabbing the new season looks now. Credit cards at the ready? OK, you're all set to shop the runway.
See How Whitney Port Effortlessly Mixes Neutral and Metallic Hues
Whitney Port was in Sydney this week for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week to launch her lines WE by Whitney Eve and Whitney Eve. Showing off her styling skills, the reality star turned designer wore a silver metallic blazer from her own collection, pairing it with a blush-tone Cameo slip dress and nude cage heels from Sergio Rossi. She then added in another element of shimmer via a gold metallic Valentino bag. See Whitney's effortless ensemble in today's Fab Flash now.

RAFW 2010: Hair That's As Easy As 1-2-3 at Christopher Esber

Y'know what it's like when it's Fashion Week—you see heaps of styles but even if they look wearable, they're so freakin' complicated in fact that you end up sticking with a simple pony. Lucky for me and you though, this style really is as easy as it looks. Created by Darren Borthwick using La Biosthetique hair products, it's designed to look like a "girl going to work." All be it a stylish, sassy girl going to work. You blow-dry it smooth, mix together Ultra Strong Gel with Bio Creator (one's strong, one's pliable) and then comb that in at the top. You're meant to see comb marks and be warned, it will fall a little but that just adds to the semi-dishevelled vibe. Then you grab all the hair to tie into a pony, tease the hair just below the nape of the neck and then secure and band below so that the clothes can be shown off.
We also caught up with Jodi Oliver who directed the makeup for shu uemura. She kept the palette fresh by using pastels, a nice change against the dark, edgy clothes of Esber. The face was neutral, a pale mauve (M Beige 804) graced the lids while a complementing blush in P Orange 55 was applied to the cheeks. The lip was kept nude and the brows were lightened using concealer. Sensing a trend?
