Our girl crush on Eva Mendes is stronger than ever. Just look at her — it's hard to resist her gorgeous curves and classy retro style. It seems we're not the only ones on Team Eva. She not only played cover girl for W July, but she's now featured in Allure's August issue as well. The actress, photographed by Michael Thompson, opened up about her public image, self image, and what she finds sexy. Read all about what she said:
Just ... wow. Can the Latina bombshell get any hotter? Here she is gracing the July cover of W magazine (on newsstands in the US on June 22) in a yolk-coloured Miu Miu frock from autumn/winter 2010-2011. And can I just say, doesn't the dress look better with the addition of va-va-voom curves? A candid interview reveals that Eva doesn't have any qualms about taking her kit off for her art, "I've never had a problem with nudity but I don't put it out there without a reason, I'm not an exhibitionist ... and I've never felt objectified." If you're a fan of the smock (which is in equal parts naughty and nice) keep a close eye on www.net-a-porter.com in the next few weeks.
Vogue Australia's September issue has made Time's Top 10 Magazine Covers list for 2009. Featuring 4 differently illustrated images of Cate Blanchett, the 50th anniversary issue was designed by fashion illustrator David Downton. Time is impressed with the cover due to its "'50s style illustration, which creates a perfect merger of glamour, celebrity and style announcing an issue that covers the magazine's long history." Other magazine covers making the cut include W'sNovember issue with Linda Evangelista and Kirsten Stewart's Interview cover for the magazine's 40th anniversary issue. Well done, Aussie Vogue!
This is definitely one for the "hmmmmmmm" files. Quite a few peeps are questioning whether Demi Moore's W cover is actually a combination of her head with Anja Rubik'sbody. You know, that old chestnut. Grazia UK has reported that the cover pose looks suspiciously like the model's runway stance, where she modelled the Balmain dress at their recent Paris show.
Let's take a closer look and decide..
Hmmmmmm indeed. I'm a little stumped. What are you thinking? Is this a case of mistaken (body) identity, or has Demi really done the ol' switcheroo?
