You're probably familiar with the fact that Topshop shows it's Unique line alongside the big guns at London fashion week, but the UK high street hero will now be joining the international pre-fall and resort seasonal drops, too. The Sydney store will be one of seven Topshop flagships world-wide to receive the trans-seasonal collection (stay tuned for Resort!).

The limited edition line-up falls back on the minimalist, considered aesthetic that we've come to know and love from Topshop Unique; featuring boxy-cut shell tops, chiffon-spliced blazers, bright slip dresses and sharp-edged accessories. Luxurious fabrics like cashmere, silk, gorgette and duchess satin ensure the fuss-free designs remain luxurious in the most modern of ways. As it's dropping into the George Street emporium next week, and with prices starting at $240 may we make a strong suggestion that Sydneysiders schedule an in-store visit sooner, rather than later?

JW Anderson for Topshop will be making a return trip to a Topshop near you. Both the Sydney and Melbourne flagships will be taking delivery of the second collaboration from the Brit-born designer late in February, so we suggest you keep your eyes peeled. That, or jump online as of the 15th. The first collab was a runaway success, with the statement sweaters and kitchy-cool printed tailoring selling out before our eyes at the Sydney store's grand opening party. I nabbed a classic striped knit and Bella swiped a beetle-print pencil skirt — and both items are still on high rotation. This time around, designer Jonathan William Anderson has added interest via pastel hued neoprene and vinyl separates, but kept silhouettes simple and interesting via graphic herringbone and logo prints. We were hoping that Jordan Askill's Topshop collab would land on our local shores and — bless the shopping gods — it has! Yellow gold and black rhodium plating means that these Egyptian-inspired styles will become true keepsakes. The seven piece range is currently sitting on shelves at the Sydney Topshop store — although given the cult status that Mr Askill's fine jewellery carries with the local fashion crowd, these gems won't last long. Not a NSW resident? Don't despair! You can nab the panther ring and choker direct from the UK.

We've been not so patiently waiting for our own Sydney flagship since the UK chain store opened it's first Australian foothold in Melbourne's South Yarra back in December of last year. Our vote for best-dressed goes to Kate Waterhouse who picked a classic striped shift, Sophie Lowe who looked adorable in a pair of velvet overalls and Jesinta Campbell who kept things slick and sexy in a metallic shell and spray-on pencil skirt. Topshop Australia's grand opening on George Street in Sydney was the place to be last night, with celebrities including Jesinta Campbell, Ruby Rose, Erin McNaught and the Veronicas turning out on the purple arrivals carpet. The Topshop Australia team put on quite the show with cool DJs, cocktails, yummy canapés and lots of shopping adventures throughout the four level complex (we may or may not have done some damage to our trusty credit cards...). But we especially loved the Topshop Australia beauty looks on show — from purple lipstick to luscious lashes — the celebrity guests really went all out for the highly anticipated opening. When it comes to makeup, Topshop is best known for their quality lipsticks that come in very on-trend, punchy colours; as well as their tantalising nail polish collections.
