Witchery has once again teamed up with Madison magazine to raise funds and awareness for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, releasing their White Shirt capsule collection in-stores natioanally and online this week. The campaign, yet again, taps in on some of Australia's most stylish talent to model and share the message of hope. This year, the line-up (of shirts, not talent) mixes classic tailoring like tuxdedo front-pleating and concealed buttons with fashion-forward details like asymmetrical hemlines and studded collars. We got a sneak peek at what went behind the scenes at the shoot. Step inside to snoop the set, then see this year's full collection. If you don't already own this wardrobe essential, it might be time to invest!
The Week in Pictures: Miranda & Flynn, Nicole Richie, The Logies, Charlize Theron & More!
We had plenty keeping us busy here in Australia, what with the Logies (well done, Asher!) and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia happening within 24 hours of each other, but there was lots going on overseas this week as well! Halle Berry displayed her teensy baby bump when she attended a film premiere in Buenos Aires, while Aussie beauty Miranda Kerr held the hand of her bub Flynn on a walk in Beverly Hills. Nicole Richie and Jessica Alba flaunted their fabulous figures while on a girls' trip to St. Barts, and Charlize Theron and Seth MacFarlane set tongues wagging when they left a restaurant together. That's not even the half of it! Click through to see what else your favourite stars got up to this week.
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia Pull A Stylish Crowd in Melbourne
Melbourne looks to have been just as excited about Ellen DeGeneres coming to visit as Sydney was, with Swisse throwing the talk show host a black tie gala last night at the Grand Hyatt hotel. Local celebrities were keen to impress Ellen and her Aussie expat wife Portia de Rossi, donning floor length gowns and tuxedos for the star-spangled event. Sonia Kruger was a lady in red thanks to local designer Arthur Galan, Rebecca Judd looked femme in a ruffled silk creation and Brynne Edelsten stood out in her red carpet go-to — sparkles! And the ladies of the hour? Understated elegance was their collective MO with Ellen opting for a beautifully cut grey trouser suit with super-white brogues and Portia looking chic in a two-toned sheath and two-strap heels. Step inside to see who-wore-what!
Ellen and Portia Mingle With Local Stars at Official Welcome Party
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi may have been in the country since Friday but they were officially welcomed to Australia with a black-tie gala that was held at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne last night. The event was supposed to be held a week earlier, but Ellen’s recent illness and postponed arrival meant the cocktail reception was pushed back — not that any of the 300 frocked up VIP guests, including Lisa Wilkinson, Magda Szubanski, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Cameron McGlinchey, Shane Jacobson, Brynne Edelsten, Rebecca Judd, and host Sonia Kruger, seemed to mind. When they couldn’t catch a moment with the woman of the moment, local celebs were content to mingle with the supporting players in Ellen’s life and popular show, such as her mother, Betty DeGeneres, and DJ, Tony Okungbowa.
The gala capped off a successful day in Melbourne for Ellen, and after an overwhelming turnout at her Birrarung Marr Park show earlier day, it’s no surprise that Ellen expressed her desire to possibly move to Australia in the future. She said, “I shouldn’t put it out there, but I can see us living here one day. Not for a while as I’ve got shows to do, but I can see it happening. This is the most incredible trip, I will never forget it.”

2012 Logies: Sonia Kruger
Manning Cartell is the local label responsible for Sonia Kruger's smashing Logies gown, perfectly balancing modern elegance and red carpet glamour.
