Rachel Rutt for One Teaspoon: The Easy Rider Collection

It's no secret that we love a bit of One Teaspoon round these parts.

It's no secret that we love a bit of One Teaspoon round these parts. The easy, edgy, cool-without-trying label has been a summer-friendly staple since its inception in 2000, and the brand's latest offering reminds us exactly why. Starring gorgeous Aussie model Rachel Rutt and styled by founder Jamie Blakey, the look book was shot by photographer Ben Sullivan, who also shot the label's campaign with Erin Wasson earlier this year. The Easy Rider range mixes the grungy with the hippie, lending a rock-meets-boho feel to the jumpsuits, capes, flares and maxis that feature in the collection. It's all available online now, or in store, and prices ranges from $59 to $380 — so good, right? Click through the gallery to check it all out now!

Snoop ASOS' In Your World Sydney Runway Show

We promised you a runway show, and didn't ASOS deliver!

We promised you a runway show, and didn't ASOS deliver! The In Your World Oz-only initiative is the first consumer-activated shindig that ASOS has ever done, so we should feel lucky that they're dipping their British toes into Australian waters when it comes to real-live-not-on-the-internet event. Last night, the forecourt of the Sydney Opera House was awash in print graphic prints, sci-fi metallic finishes, a truckload of fun party frocks and seasonally appropriate separates — made especially to bask under the Australian sun in. The best bit is every piece you see on the catwalk you can buy, like — right now. If you haven't already snooped our pervy backstage gallery, do so — then click through to see the main event!

All the Candid, Backstage Fun From The ASOS Fashion Show!

ASOS continues to woo it's Aussie fan-base, firstly by giving us our own Oz-only, season-specific collection and secondly by throwing us a slew of shindigs to fete the launch of the exclusive capsule collection.

ASOS continues to woo it's Aussie fan-base, firstly by giving us our own Oz-only, season-specific collection and secondly by throwing us a slew of shindigs to fete the launch of the exclusive capsule collection. Last night we were lucky enough to go backstage at the first runway show preview and my, my, didn't we have some fun! Apart from getting up close and personal with the killer collection (which, btw you can snap up before the rest of the world here), we were able to snap some of the backstage shenanigans. You know how we love a bit of backstage! The full runway roundup is coming soon, but for now why don't you wind back time, pop down to the Sydney Opera House, and hang out backstage with us?

2011 RAFW: Little Joe Woman

Little Joe Woman backstage was the place to be if you wanted to catch a glimpse of Yasmin Le Bon.

Little Joe Woman backstage was the place to be if you wanted to catch a glimpse of Yasmin Le Bon. The British beauty jetted into Sydney to walk for her good friend Gail Elliott's label alongside Aussie beauties Samantha Harris and Rachel Rutt. All the models, including Yasmin, had the same "edgy but feminine" makeup palette, which featured a smoky eye, complete with kohl on the water-line. The hair was in part inspired by Gail, but where as Gail's known for her "glamazon" glossy mane, hair director Brad Ngata gave models a drier, more textured finish by using a double moussing technique before tonging hair.

  • Makeup: Michael Brown for Lancôme
  • Look: Edgy yet feminine
  • Colours: Granite, purple
  • Key products: Kohl liner
  • Hair: Brad Ngata for L'Oréal Professionnel
  • Nails: Lancôme Violet Groove from the Ultra Lavande collection

Back in Town: Bambi Northwood-Blyth Sparkles for Oyster

With RAFW shows under way ahead of next week's official schedule, we're starting to notice some familiar faces on the runways.

With RAFW shows under way ahead of next week's official schedule, we're starting to notice some familiar faces on the runways. Rachel Rutt oozed low-key elegance in Carla Zampatti's sharply cut threads this morning, and with news that Bambi Northwood-Blyth is back in home in Oz, we're expecting to see those signature brows at more than a few S/S shows. Celebrating the Aussie supe' in the making, Oyster magazine has honoured Bambi with a sparklicious cover and colour-filled spread in issue #92, in which she wears Miu Miu, Gucci and Louis Vuitton like a total pro. Even whilst scowling, Bambi's still a beauty. Step inside to see.
