All the Glamorous Beauty Looks From 2010 Crown Oaks Day

Derby Day and Melbourne Cup were both stylish affairs but we're excited to see what Crown Oaks Day holds tomorrow.
Jess Hart and Georgia May Jagger

Derby Day and Melbourne Cup were both stylish affairs but we're excited to see what Crown Oaks Day holds tomorrow. It's traditionally Ladies Day so we're hoping for lots of feminine, elegant looks. Last year Georgia May Jagger and Jerry Hall — who judged Fashions on the Field — brought some international flavour to the day so let's remind ourselves of their beauty looks.

2010 Crown Oaks Day: Ricki-Lee Coulter

We loved Ricki-Lee's lilac look at Melbourne Cup on Tuesday and she looks equally as pretty today.

We loved Ricki-Lee's lilac look at Melbourne Cup on Tuesday and she looks equally as pretty today. Dang her skin looks good. So fresh and radiant and full of glowy goodness. Note how we said "radiant," not "shiny." Because, most celebs have been battling against the latter in a bid to look like the former. They all need to get on to Ricki-Lee for some advice because she has nailed it. Beautiful eye makeup, paired with a nude lip and hair back. Aces, we say. You?

2010 Crown Oaks Day: Carmen Electra

We wonder if Carmen Electra and Louise Roe talked race day beauty on the flight over here.

We wonder if Carmen Electra and Louise Roe talked race day beauty on the flight over here. They both opted for tonged tresses after all but Carmen went for a black bejewelled beret instead of a flapper-style headband. I like Carmen's metallic eyeshadow, but it's got to be said, next to Georgia May Jagger, she doesn't really hold her own. Her foundation is too heavy and is hiding that gorgeous face of hers. I don't wanna sound mean; it's just that I expected more from Carmen who has been a red carpet regular for yonks now. Foundation is the first thing you gotta get right, otherwise it can ruin your whole look. Whaddya reck, do you like her look?

2010 Crown Oaks Day: Rebecca Twigley

Ms. Twigley, just because your hair and makeup are styled to perfection and your frock is pretty as a picture, doesn't mean we're going to forgive you all that shine.

Ms. Twigley, just because your hair and makeup are styled to perfection and your frock is pretty as a picture, doesn't mean we're going to forgive you all that shine. This is the THIRD race meet now and you really should've remembered to pack the blotting papers. But that aside, you've once again nailed the race day look. Smoky eye, check; clear gloss; check, hint of blush, check; good brows, check. But if I see shine on Stakes Day, we'll be having words.

2010 Crown Oaks Day: Georgia May Jagger

Finally! Someone who has 100 percent TOTALLY nailed race day glamour.

Finally! Someone who has 100 percent TOTALLY nailed race day glamour. Can I get a woot woot for Georgia May Jagger, please? The British beauty looked flawless with her big-bodied ringlet curls and statement orange lip. Y'all know that I love me a bold pout and I would've liked to see more of them around at Spring Racing Carnival. She paired her matte mandarin lip with gold-rimmed eyes. Gorge. Throw in a side sparkly headpiece and that picture-perfect skin of hers and it's a winning look from the Invisible Zinc and Rimmel ambassador. 10/10, no?

2010 Crown Oaks Day: Jess Hart

Lady in red Jess Hart has kicked off 2010 Crown Oaks Day with a bang!

Lady in red Jess Hart has kicked off 2010 Crown Oaks Day with a bang! The gorgeous gap-toothed beauty is wearing pretty much top-to-toe red so she's been sensible about scaling back on the makeup. She's opted for defined eyes, clear gloss and slightly bushy brows—which we've seen on Leighton Meester and Jennifer Lopez recently. I'd have liked to see a pop of gold in the inner V's of her eyes—I feel like this would've brightened her look a little as the usually fresh-faced beauty looks a little tired. Similar to Natalie Imbruglia at Melbourne Cup, she's gone for a textured side chignon, which is amaze. But I wish she'd ditch the hat and just rock the turban à la Giorgio Armani Spring '11. Thoughts on the look?

2010 Melbourne Cup: The Best (and Worst) Race Day Beauty

You have rated and hated your little hearts out, peeps.
2010 Melbourne Cup: The Best and Worst of the Guys and Girls at Flemington

You have rated and hated your little hearts out, peeps. So now it's times to wrap up and say a big buh-bye to Melbourne Cup for yet another year. This year was a little bit meh. No one really, really wowed us. Perhaps that's because kooky Zandra Rhodes was the one of the only ones to adopt a statement lip. Disappointment doesn't even cover it. Saying that, the girls (and guys) did improve on Derby Day with many avoiding the 12 o'clock oil slick. Bravo. But there were plenty of Valentino tans. Not so bravo. Rebecca Twigley, Louise Roe, Ricki-Lee and Natalie Imbruglia all looked gorgeous, but there was little international glamour because Enrique Iglesias clearly thought he was going to the Australian Open, not the Melbourne Cup. Hmmm. And who woulda thought that Brynne Gordon-Edelsten could by upstaged . . . by her husband! Have a looksee through all the snaps!

Enrique Iglesias Brings Casual Flavour to the Melbourne Cup

International music artist Enrique Iglesias was flown out to Australia to attend the Melbourne Cup, but the Spanish singer seemed to have missed the memo about the dress code!

International music artist Enrique Iglesias was flown out to Australia to attend the Melbourne Cup, but the Spanish singer seemed to have missed the memo about the dress code! While everyone else frocked up for the occasion, Enrique made his entrance in jeans, an open collar shirt and army cap, and didn’t look all that thrilled to be there. He did, however, notice gorgeous The X Factor judge Natalie Imbruglia and introduced himself with a kiss (what would Anna Kournikova think?!). Other celebs who saw Americain win the race included Glenn McGrath and fiancée Sara, Scarlett Belle singers Tamara Jaber and Reigan Derry, Ricki-Lee Coulter and MasterChef judges Matt Preston and George Calombaris. See all their pics and more!

2010 Melbourne Cup: Ricki-Lee Coulter

The gorgeous Ricki-Lee Coulter was a vision in lilac as she hit Flemington yesterday, proving that she's moving onwards and upwards after her "shock" sacking from Nova.

The gorgeous Ricki-Lee Coulter was a vision in lilac as she hit Flemington yesterday, proving that she's moving onwards and upwards after her "shock" sacking from Nova. The 24-year-old hit the Cup with her boyfriend and we're suspecting that she paired her Alex Perry frock with makeup by Ricki-Lee Coulter. The singer is known for doing her own makeup on shoots and sets and we think she's done a great job. Her brows were groomed to perfection, her eye had just the right hint of smokiness to them, and her lashes, while obviously faux, weren't heavy and spidery like some that we spotted yesterday. Paired with a lilac lip, we say aces. You too?

2010 Melbourne Cup: Natalie Imbruglia

Natalie Imbruglia upped the glamour ante at yesterday's Melbourne Cup with The X Factor judge looking flawless.

Natalie Imbruglia upped the glamour ante at yesterday's Melbourne Cup with The X Factor judge looking flawless. Absolutely flawless. I wasn't too keen on her wide-brimmed hat — it was a little too witchy for me — but I do love how she's been wearing her hair in a side chignon. And y'know I love me a winged eye. And Nat nailed the false lashes too. She paired it with flawless skin, which was lightly illuminated, and a nude creamy lip. Definitely one of my favourite looks. Chic and stylish, no? What do you think? A favourite look of yours? Or not?
