Nicole Kidman is embracing the ladylike trend in this knee-length Prada dress and kitten-heeled peep toe shoes. She's at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's Installation Luncheon where she helped announce financial grants and new board members. Kermit may have said it's not easy being green, but Nic's clearly showing that there ain't nothing hard about it. This is a fuss-free, event-appropriate dress which flatters her skin tone and hair colour. Props to Nic for always looking so polished and elegant. Do you rate it?
Miuccia Prada’s cute and quirky frocks from Miu Miu’s A/W 2010 collection come to life in the latest ad campaign. Shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, model cuties Lindsey Wixson, Siri Tollerød, Ginta Lapina and Daphne Groeneveld playfully dance around and pose in a photo booth in mustard and lilac embellished dresses, drool-worthy handbags and sweet footwear. The girls definitely bring a cheeky, fun flavour to the clothes! Check out their moves in the video, and good luck getting that beat out of your head...
Fashion chameleon Miranda Kerr has proven that she can do both sexy (Victoria's Secret) and edgy, but in Prada's autumn/winter 2010-2011 campaign, our favourite Aussie supe plays both. Check her out dirty dancing in the right corner. The other models grooving in the house's '50s-style pieces are Angela Lindvall — who serves as the evening's sultry songstress — Valerija Kelava, Daria Strokous, Sigrid Agren, and Kim Dall Armi. Here is further proof that breasts are back in fashion — love it! What do you think of these?
Sometimes you just crave a fashion shoot that is just ... elegant. Not edgy, not fierce, but simple and beautiful ... something that inspires you to buy the clothing featured rather than applaud the spread for its artistic merits. To that end, V and its dynamic duo (photographer Willy Vanderperre and stylist Olivier Rizzo) have delivered ... Check out Miranda Kerr dressed in head-to-toe Prada; yummy mummy Karolina Kurkova in Celine and Yves Saint Laurent; and America's sweetheart, Jacquelyn Jablonski in Calvin Klein and Valentino. Miranda even divulged, "If I'm wearing something that accentuates my curves, it definitely gives me a confidence boost. It helps to have sexy underwear too ..." .
Last week we showed you Daria and her glossy posse posing as lounge lizards at a chi-chi nightclub for the new Prada ad campaign shot by Steven Meisel (for the northern hemisphere's autumn/winter) ... but wait, there's more ... here's another sneak peek at what's coming to Prada stores shortly. Camo bags. Yes. Really. Can you see yourself carrying one around?
Prada's playful little sister looked very much like she snuck into big sis's wardrobe and pulled out her zaniest items. Cue three-quarter length skirts and satiny frocks and one super-fun shirt dress; all decorated in fruity prints, hearts and giant polka-dots to keep things zesty. And if you're not adverse to flaunting bold accessories, then you'll love the studded bangles (designed to be worn in multiples) and the kooky Kermit-green spotty high heels. It's all a bit Lolita-meets-librarian-chic ... equal parts geeky and cool, which is what Miu Miu is all about really.
Italians do it better ... or so they say. Which is probably why the French luxury house Vionnet has recruited a couple of Italians to reinvigorate the venerable brand. With Matteo Marzotto (ex-Valentino) at the reigns, ex-Prada alumn Rodolfo Paglialunga as creative director and cool cobbler Giuseppi Zanotti producing its fine footwear ... we predict the only way is up for the label. Here's a sneak peak of the collection below ...
