We spotted Demi Moore and Brooke Shields in the front row at Donna Karan’s NY Fashion Week show and later caught up with Brooke and fashion expert Rachel Zoe to hear why they are huge fans of the famous designer. Both love Donna Karan because of her passion for fashion and embracing the feminine form. Check out our First Look at her newest collection.
You don't go to a Ralph Lauren show expecting anything less than finely tuned American classics, equestrian detailing and rich, luxurious fabrics. It may seem a little tired, but there's always a place in your wardrobe for a little RL. For Fall, the brand sent floral gowns, velvet jackets, shearling vests and tweed suiting down the runway, updated by shrunken fits, puffed sleeves and statement accessories.
Fur-trimmed boots and bags will surely appeal to the loyal Ralph Lauren customer, while black embellished gowns wouldn't look out of place on the red carpet. Worn-in belts, fingerless gloves and knitted caps lent a modern touch to the perennially classic collection.

Designer Tory Burch had a bright and festive downtown vibe in her Fall 2010 collection at New York Fashion Week. Standout pieces from the runway included slouchy trousers, wearable winter coats, fur-lined hoodies, and a surprise pop of color.
Hit the road this Fall in chunky knits, over-sized cardigans and endless layers. We spotted this gypsy-chic trend from designers like Rachel Roy, Catherine Malandrino and Yigal Azrouël. Check out our FabTV pick for the next must-have accessory as seen on the DVF runway.
Choosing to bypass the runway for a visual presentation instead, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman could have easily been mistaken for one of the models, working the room in a Fall '10 white ruffled-bow dress which wouldn't look out of place in a fairytale. It's quite often that Marchesa's collections conjure up romantic thoughts, with tulle rosettes, grosgrain bows, chiffon ruffles and satin draping adorning mini and maxi-length gowns.
There wasn't anything particularly new here — we've come to expect beautiful dresses from the British label, but that didn't make the collection any less satisfying. In fact, I don't know how anyone could fault the range. Sherbert shades of silvery-blue, soft-beige and cloudy white were balanced by more bold shades of red, blue and magenta. The gowns were beautiful, absolutely, but the short, pouffy dresses really stole the show. How could anyone not want to prance around in a feathery, ruffled, tulle little number? Marchesa, I'm totally hooked.

Now that her Madewell preview is over, Alexa Chung had a little time to catch the 3.1 Phillip Lim show, front row of course. She kept things fuss-free and casual, choosing a printed tee, black suede skirt and knitted cardigan for the occasion. Her bag of choice was the Alexa Mulberry — what else — in a cute leopard print design. She looks cool, no doubt about that, but is this a little too grandma for your liking?

Just when you think Oscar de la Renta has done it all; nailed eveningwear, perfected bridal, mastered cocktail — he pulls out a new trick. This time, in the way of Dynasty glamour. For his Fall collection, models including Abbey Lee Kershaw, Karen Elson, Anja Rubik and Sasha Pivovarova channelled '80s glamazons in floor-length gowns, pussy-bow blouses, jewel colours and fur-trimmed jackets. Ladylike gloves, oversized earrings and sparkle hosiery added interest to the high-shine looks, while Russian-style fur hats topped off some of the more casual outfits.
Front row star Jessica Biel was apparently so moved by the collection, she was left speechless. It didn't have the same effect on me, but I have to admit, Oscar rarely disappoints. Catch all the glitz from the parade in our gallery.

New York Fashion Week is wrapping up today, but as we await the final shows, I thought a little celeb spotting was in order. Yesterday's show schedule drew the best crowd by far with Natalie Portman, Chloë Sevigny and Kirsten Dunst appearing front row for Rodarte. The week's regulars — Olivia Palermo, Erin Lucas, Melissa George and Leigh Lezark still floated around, while Liv Tyler made a special appearance for G-Star. Makes sense, she is the face of their new campaign after all. Click on for all the latest celeb pics!
At Monique Lhuillier's Fall 2010 show, the looks were anything but bridal. Instead, the collection featured sexy evening dresses and separates in bold Autumn colors, military details, and a splash of uptown tweed. Lhuillier also sent some memorable couture gowns down the runway that were definitely red carpet ready.
