From Kate Moss to Michelle Williams to Claudia Schiffer and the girls of The City, there's no denying nautical stripes are a huge trend right now. We've been seeing the Breton striped top everywhere, but in this episode of Fab's How To, Allison shows us how to wear this popular style in new ways.
Au revoir Cannes, it's been fun while it lasted! I really got accustomed to seeing all the glitz, glamour and endless supplies of couture on offer daily. It's no secret that I was blown away by Michelle Williams' style throughout her time at the festival, but the lovely Naomi Watts and always-impressive Diane Kruger also stood out with help from their friends Karl, Frida and Giorgio. All in all, a job well done by all on the red carpet. Apart from a few same-same gowns there wasn't anything I truly couldn't stand. Success! Are you ready to take a step into Cannes hotness for one last time?

We've got loads of happy snaps including Mischa Barton's frock swap, Rachel Bilson's dress detail, Dree Hemingway's fab heels and Naomi Watts cuddlying up to Tom Ford. What more could you want, really? Click on for my Fab Faves!
Okie dokie, we've covered off the black and white, now it's time to zone in on colour! Admittingly, I'm not a huge fan of Emily Blunt's red Georges Chakra Edition gown (a little too Dynasty for me), but I appreciate that the bright hue suits her well; and as mush as I love Rachel Bilson's Chanel Couture embellished gown, perhaps some clever accessories or a dishevelled up 'do would have helped spice things up a bit (sorry Rach). Model Dree Hemingway made a statement in neon and nude Valentino Couture and I applaud her modern style, and Michelle Rodriguez wowed in head to toe fuchsia. My newfound fashion BFF of the moment, Michelle Williams, absolutely nailed it in her sparkly Sonia Rykiel shift dress. Love it!
Over to you now! Which coloured frock do you fancy most?
Yowza! Look how smokin' hot Michelle Williams has suddenly become. Don't get me wrong, I've always admired her cute-as-a-button style, but it seems like she's really amped things up for her time in Cannes this week. She's in town promoting her new film Blue Valentine with a freshly dyed pixie cut and an enviable wardrobe. For evening, she chose a drool-worthy Chanel Couture pale pink gown (which is similar to SJP's Oscars frock, 'member?), and for day, a speckle-print Suno dress with Stella McCartney wedges. Gawd, don't make me choose, she looks gorgeous wearing both looks, but I guess I can't go past the Chanel gown. How about you?
Do you prefer Michelle Williams dressed up or down in Cannes?
