Zoe Saldana stepped, or should we say skipped, out in Berlin in this delightful Calvin Klein Collection ensemble yesterday. She was on press tour duty for Star Trek Into Darkness, joining co-stars Zachary Quinto and Alice Eve for the photocall in the German capital. Shirking off the traditionally staid vibe that a charcoal two-piece brings, Zoe - or should we say her stylist Mara Roszak, put a playful spin on things via this pleated skirt and crop-top combo. A pair of cut-out Jimmy Choo suede ankle booties and a bejewelled headpiece by Jennifer Behr (which, btw, you can still buy) finished off her femme look. We thought it was worth zooming in on, so step inside to see it up close, and from all the angles.

Zoe Saldana Nails Effortless Glamour at The Words Premiere

For the premiere of The Words, Zoe Saldana looked effortlessly sexy with red lipstick, heavy winged eyeliner, and a low ponytail. Inspired by Zoe's coquettish Ellie Saab dress, stylist Mara Roszak opted for an undone ponytail to complement the rest of Zoe's ensemble. Her look is easy to get at home, all you need mousse and hairspray!

Mara started by evenly applying John Frieda's Frizz-Ease Curl Reviver Styling Mousse on Zoe's towel-dried hair to build texture. Then, she braided Zoe's hair and left it until it was completely dry to achieve a natural, wavy texture. After the hair was completely dry, Mara broke up the waves and teased the roots.

To create the undone style, she pulled hair from each side of Zoe's face to the back of the head, allowing the sections to overlap, pinned them, and continued down the head until Zoe's hair was wrapped into a ponytail shape. A quick mist of John Frieda's Frizz-Ease Firm-Hold Hair Spray kept the look mussy yet polished.

At the Do Something Awards yesterday, Nikki Reed showcased just how much an up 'do can enhance your hair's texture and colour - real or not. All it takes is two mattifying products, some hairpins, and about five minutes of your time. Get the complete low-down below.

Celebrity stylist Mara Roszak began by parting Nikki's dry strands straight down the middle, spritzing a texturiser, Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray ($44), all throughout.
To add more texture, she then twisted the front sections of Nikki's hair, pinned them in place, and allowed them to dry.
For even more fluff, Roszak applied a dry shampoo all over. To finish, she pulled the remaining hair low to one side, twisting it into a loose bun. After pinning in place, she then allowed a few pieces of Nikki's hair to fall out around her face for perfectly undone results.

When you're hot, you're hot, and right now, Emma Stone is on fire. At the LA premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man, Emma, dressed in a white and pink Chanel frock, looked radiant, almost ethereal, wearing black and white eye makeup - Revlon ColorStay crème gel eyeliner in Black ($24.95) and Chanel Illusion d'Ombre in Fantasme ($48) - with just a hint of pink on her cheeks and lips. "I wanted Emma's makeup to be effortless and elegant," said makeup artist Rachel Goodwin.

The same mind-set rang true when it came to Emma's hairstyle. Celebrity stylist Mara Roszak for Moroccanoil explained, "I felt it should play against the dress and look sleek in an effortless, textured way." To do this, Roszak spritzed Moroccanoil Luminous Hair Spray in Strong ($34.95) on Emma's blow-dried strands. She then pulled Emma's hair back low at the nape, twisted it into a knot, and tucked the ends under. A Cartier diamond brooch was attached at the back for a chic finish.

Zoe Saldana's Hair Stylist Talks Us Through Her Party Ponytail

Zoe Saldana walked the red carpet for the premiere of her new action flick Colombiana wearing a stunning, custom-made Balmain gown - and her minimal makeup and casual-chic hairstyle were a perfect balance to the ornate frock. Zoe's hairstylist Mara Roszak opted for a low, simple ponytail, artfully embellished with a chain.

First, Roszak applied Josie Maran Organic Argan Oil to Zoe's damp hair, then blow-dried it straight. Next, she sprayed the hair with Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray and added a bit of Oribe Pomade for a more natural, rough texture.

Roszak gathered Zoe's hair into a low, loose ponytail, twisting the sides back and securing with an elastic band. She wrapped a piece of hair around the elastic, along with a small piece of chain (even an old necklace will do!) and secured by crisscrossing bobby pins through it. Finally, she set the look by spraying Leonor Greyl Voluforme Setting Spray.
