Strap in as we keep up with what our fashion and beauty favourites have been up to this week! Top supermodel Coco Rocha landed in Sydney ahead of the very chic Bespoke summit, held at the Sydney Opera House during the week, while overseas, Sydney girl Phoebe Tonkin hung out (and looked stunning) with Jaime King. Celebrity stylist Romy Frydman took to Singapore to style Collette Dinnigan's runway collection, Rihanna rocked some Chanel flats and Miranda Kerr shared a new snap from Vogue Italia. . . But the cutest picture of the week? It has to go to Sienna Miller, glowing with happiness with her baby daughter on her lap (Marlowe's ponytail is so cute it hurts). Click through to see it all!
InStyle magazine hosted their annual Women of Style Awards last night in Sydney, drawing a fabulously dressed crowd to Eveleigh's CarriageWorks. Designer Carla Zampatti was honoured with the Fashion Award, and an absentee Nicole Kidman was awarded the Hall of Fame gong. We, as usual, were just as interested in scoping out the what the A-list crowd wore to this style-driven event as who-won-what. Lindy Klim wowed in a sculptural Toni Maticevski number, The Voice alumn' Emma Birdsall went the retro route in a brocade Carla Zampatti number, Samara Weaving showed off her killer figure in a sheer-spliced LBD and Kate Waterhouse kept it casual in a relaxed Lanvin top + pant combo. Last night Australia's finest women descended on Sydney to help announce the winners for InStyle's annual Women of Style Awards. Lindy Klim was a finalist in the beauty category, narrowly missing the top gong to Nad's founder Sue Ismiel. Celebrities to attend included Kate Waterhouse, Samantha Harris, Kate Ritchie and Samara Weaving. Click through to see all the beauty looks on show.
We have a little confession to make... We've recently acquired a very big crush on Lindy Klim — Michael Klim's super stylish (and gorgeous!) wife. She's not only a Balinese princess and former model, but also co-founder of the couple's burgeoning lifestyle brand, Milk & Co. A largely organic range, Milk & Co launched back in 2008 for men and babies, but the pair is currently working on a Milk By Lindy Klim line, as well as apparel. Recently listed as a finalist in the beauty category for the annual InStyle and Audi Women of Style Awards, we sat down with Lindy to quiz her on all things makeup, skincare, life in Bali and more.

We're inducting Katy Perry into our floral crown hall of fame, following her appearance at a photocall for The Smurfs 2 at the 5th Annual Summer of Sony party overnight. Floral crowns are always a hit on the red carpet, at the races (we're looking at you Delta Goodrem!), premieres and more, and we can totally see why — they look incredible. Flower headpieces are so pretty, so feminine, so colourful and best of all, so easy to whip up. While you could buy a professionally-made crown at a florist, it's super simple to craft your own. All you need is fishing wire and a couple bunches of your fave flowers — the fuller the better. Thread the flower buds and blooms onto the wire (being sure to include a few bits of greenery, too), then close the fishing wire to make a circle large enough to sit atop your head. Lock it in place with some discreet bobby pins, and voilà! Fit for a pretty princess. Click through the gallery for some celebrity inspiration!
It looks like monochrome dressing is the next big thing in style — at least, if you look to these ladies for inspiration! And let's face it, who doesn't? When celebrities look this good, it's hard to not want to emulate every piece from head to toe. Diane Kruger was back on the radar after a quiet few weeks — her Giambattista Valli minidress had a new take on cool capes (remember Gwyneth's Tom Ford?). Miranda Kerr continued her reign as the people's queen of street style when she stepped out in sexy skinnies and a classic topper, while Solange Knowles brightened the week up with a strong hit of marigold. And no one will ever forget the moment Jennifer Lawrence stepped onto the red carpet at the Oscars. With that gorgeous bell-shaped Dior, we reckon she knew that each step she took was fashion history in the making. Keen to see these looks up close? Come this way.
The black carpet was rolled out at Mural Hall for the launch of Myer’s Autumn/Winter 2013 fashion collection in Melbourne last night. A slew of Australian celebrities, most with a Myer association, showed their support for the department store, including Laura Dundovic, Lauren Phillips and Rebecca Judd. The show’s runway stars, Jennifer Hawkins and Kris Smith, also made a quick appearance on the black carpet with their respective partners. Jennifer, stunning and statuesque in a black and gold Manning Cartell dress, posed with her fiancé Jake Wall, a day after sharing the story of how he proposed in the paper. Kris had his girlfriend Maddy King on his arm before he hit the catwalk.
From the Oscars to the front row Fashion Week, as well as Myer's A/W collection, this week was a fashionable feast, featuring hot-off-the-runway designer looks and custom couture gowns. Michelle Williams' orange Louis Vuitton gown provided a welcome pop of colour among the sea of white that dominated the red carpet, while at the Vanity Fair after party Kate Bosworth worked a black beaded A/W '12 Prabal Gurung dress. Elsewhere, Olivia Palermo opted for a minimalist black ensemble at Paris Fashion Week, and French Vogue editor Emmanuelle Alt looked sleek in leather blazer. We've seen the gorgeous makeup looks on show at Myer's Autumn/Winter 2012, but now it's time to turn our attentions to the stylish stars sitting front row. Joining sass & bide designers Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton and were Myer's bevy of beautiful ambassadors Jennifer Hawkins, Jess Hart, Rebecca Judd, Laura Dundovic and Lauren Phillips. Also there to show their support to the department store: Lindy Klim, Brynne Edelstone and many more.
