Spring 2011 is going to be all about two shades, lavender and honeysuckle. The former was an overwhelming favourite on the runways in New York and London, and the latter is Pantone's pick for Colour of the Year in 2011. What does this mean for you? Well, there's bound to be loads of both shades showing up at makeup counters, and that means finding new and pretty ways to wear the colours. I've gathered up some of the prettiest, freshest uses of lavender and honeysuckle from the runways, and now I'm passing them on to you. So whether you want to look professional, edgy, or sweet, there's a look here for you and a colour variation to suit your skin tone.
Terry Richardson Gets The Goofball Out Of Lindsey Wixson
What a perfect trio! Opening Ceremony, Lindsey Wixson and Terry Richardson have enough cool-cat cred behind each of them to start a hipster making factory. And in fact, that's kinda what they did for the U.S brand's Spring 2011 look book. Rising star Lindsey lets her freaky flag fly for the famed snapper, and looks to be having a whole lotta fun whilst posing in fringetastic frocks, metallic striped Breton tees, flippy skater skirts and one LRD that we'll be putting on pre-order. Take a flick through to see Lindsey doing justice to Opening Ceremony's cooler-than-thou threads.
Best Of The Rest: More Spring/Summer '11 Campaigns!
We gave you a look at the first round of luscious designer S/S 2011 campaigns just last week — but a second batch of high end ads are circulating, and we'd thought'd it'd be rude not to share. We got excited about Missoni this morning, and Cèline yesterday, but add to the mix Lara Stone looking strong 'n' sexy for Calvin Klein, Agyness Deyn mucking about for Culture Clash and Lindsey Wixson working it for Alexander McQueen and you've got one good looking season of Fab Ads! Click on through to see all the inspired images for Spring 2011.
Lush-As S/S '11 Offerings From Mulberry's Secret Garden

We had a conniption last month when we went to the S/S 2011 range showing for Mulberry, and for good reason. The lusher-than-lush bags, shoes and some freakin' ah-mazing ready to wear pieces reduced us to tears (in a good way); and that was before we laid eyes on Bella the pug who was sporting a very fetching Mulberry collar and harness! Intricately detailed dresses a flush with silk petals, too-cute coats in bunny rabbit brocades and one PHENOM navy silk dress that would look a treat on Olivia Palermo left us on a fashion high for the rest of the day. So you can imagine how excited we were to see the bloomin' lovely Spring '11 campaign from Mulberry — shot by fairytale-fantasist Tim Walker and styled by Edward Enniful. Pastel zebra prints mix it with watercolour florals and LOTS of the drool worthy accessories that this heritage Brit brand is known for. Click on through to see Lindsey Wixsen and Nimue Smit looking right at home in Mulberry's flower filled Secret Garden.
Lindsey Wixson: Seriously Smokin' in the Versace Vanitas Vid
Versace give good fragrance ads. Billboards or videos, they always work like a charm. The latest, for Versace Vanitas, is no exception. Starring top model Lindsey Wixson — who was the go-to girl for Spring, walking for Victoria Beckham, Thakoon and Marc by Marc Jacobs to name but a few — this just-released commercial gives further insight into the vibe we can expect from the scent. Pitching itself as the couture sister of the fragrance family, Vanitas is rumoured to have found its name from the late Gianni Versace's love of the term vanitas, meaning vanity. Though many are saying the ad is signature Dontatella with the usually dark blonde Lindsey taking on a platinum tone, which combined with her famous puckered pout, is reminiscent of a young Donatella. Directed by Craig McDean, the futuristic campaign has an almost superhero edge to it, definitely giving it an almost unobtainable, look-but-don't-touch feel. It's the height of luxury. And I want it. NOW. Shame we have to wait so long for it . . .
Just Touched Down in Westfield Town and It's AH-MAZING!
Umm, what's not to love about 130 shops — all under one seriously stylin' roof — throwing open their doors today. Quite. Fab and I have just returned from the opening of Westfield Sydney and let me tell you, you need to get yourself there FAST, girl. Like NOW. Stat.
It's totally ah-mazing and everything you could ever, ever wish for. I'm most excited about Diane von Furstenberg I have to say, 'specially because the über designer is launching her own makeup line which I am PUMPED about. We all know how hard I fell for that glorious hot pink lip this Spring. To. Die. For.
Also catching my eye was Miu Miu, which hasn't opened just yet, but the windows are emblazoned with the drop dead gorgeous Lindsey Wixson all green eyeshadow-ed to the max. Seriously I have got to get me some green shadow. It's the bomb. And then there was the beaut-iful Samantha Harris getting her makeup re-touched before the snappers swarmed on her — there are heaps of cool Fashion Week snaps of her and Abbey Lee along the walls. LOVE.

Versace Vanitas: Smokin' Hot or S'is OK, Not Really My Thing

OK, so I pinky swear this is the last thing about fragrance that I'll write today. Promise. (Unless something super awesome like Alexa launching her own fragrance happens, of course. Actually, scrap that. I'll be too busy dancing on my chair to write.) See I know it's been a bit of a scent-a-licious morning what with the Bieber launching his own unisex fragrance, Kate Moss telling us she likes, um, moss and now this. But look at it. Sigh. It's just so beautiful that I just had to share it even though the scent itself, Versace Vanitas, won't be hitting Australia until well into 2011. But model-of-the-moment Lindsey Wixson looks so dang sultry and strong in the ads, shot by Craig McDean, that it's made me want the fragrance. NOW. It's kinda rare that an ad captivates you as much as this, dontcha reck? Or can you not see what the big deal is?
Lindsey Wixson Goes '70s Retro For Another Magazine
Fab model crush Lindsey Wixson channels the ultimate '70s girl next door for Another magazine's Autumn/Winter '10 issue. Shot by Venetia Scott and styled by Marie-Amelie Sauvé, the golden-locks girl is breezy, pretty, and young in retro-fied florals, crop tops, hot pants, and everyday glam. It kinds reminds me of an episode of Laverne & Shirley...but cooler, obvi. Click on to be '70s inspired.

Model Moment: Lindsey Wixson Poses in Purple
We first professed our love for newcomer Lindsey Wixson back in January when she fronted the Miu Miu campaign, and recently, our love affair continued with her New York Fashion Week runway moments. The Kansas-born, 16-year-old model has a lot to rave about — the most adorable pouty lips being number one. She's in Purple magazine's latest Fall/Winter issue, modelling behind the lens of Olivier Zahm. As I was flipping through, I couldn't help but notice that she slightly resembles a young Angelina Jolie; the plush lips, those piercing blue eyes, the intense stare. See if you agree in our gallery.
