The fun didn't end when the catwalk closed at yesterday's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. From there, the Angels traded their lingerie and wings for a bevy of sexy cocktail dresses, then headed to NYC's Lavo for the after-party. There, the cast of Angels, including Miranda Kerr and Karlie Kloss — who traded their runway looks for a long sleeved LBD and a sparkly silver number — was joined by the night's big performers, like Justin Bieber and Rihanna, as well as a slew of celebrities who helped keep the party going. Poppy Delevingne stepped out to support sister Cara, while Alexa Chung and Vanessa Hudgens were on hand for all the festivities. Click on for all the photos — and of course, what all the models were wearing post-show.
See the Supermodels Strut at the London Olympics Closing Ceremony
We're not that sports-mad, but the London Olympics closing ceremony truly blew us away this morning thanks to a short but sweet catwalk show, paying tribute to the icons of the British fashion industry. Britain's most beautiful models stormed the stadium in solid-gold looks from the UK's most celebrated designers. Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell both smouldered in Alexander McQueen, Stella Tennant worked a striking Christopher Kane suit, Karem Elson donned Burberry, Lily Donaldson was princess-perfect in Vivienne Westwood, Lily Cole was ethereal in Erdem, Jourdan Dunn wore Jonathan Saunders sheath topped off with a Stephen Jones headpiece, David Gandy looked dapper in Paul Smith and Georgia May Jagger was ultra-cute in Victoria Beckham. Phew! What a role call! Step this way to get your front row ticket to this year's most extravagant fashion show, courtesy of the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony.
Kate Moss & Naomi Campbell — The Models at the Closing Ceremony
We have to admit, the moment the supermodels walked out into the stadium at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics this morning — the Sugar office went into a spin. We were screaming and clapping (hey, they are icons), and I think there was even a "Shut. Up." uttered at one point. Kate Moss looked every inch the sex kitten with big hair, smoky eyes and amazingly contoured cheeks (hello cheekbone envy); and Naomi Campbell wore her long, black hair straight. The other models included Georgia May Jagger, Lily Cole, Lily Donaldson, Karen Elson and Stella Tennant — who were all dressed in iconic British designers and came into the stadium in huge trucks featuring their own image. Stay tuned!
Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and the UK's Best Models Strut Their Stuff at Olympics Closing Ceremony
Fashion lovers flocked to their TV screens as some of the UK’s — and the world’s — best supermodels took centre stage at the London Olympics closing ceremony. Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Lily Cole, Lily Donaldson, Georgia May Jagger, Karen Elson, Stella Tennant, Jourdan Dunn and David Gandy, who were all dressed in iconic British designers, rode into the Olympic Stadium in vehicles featuring their images. When the sheets on the vehicles dropped, the models were revealed and they proceeded to strut into the centre of the Union Jack-shaped stage to the tune of David Bowie's "Fashion." Stay tuned — there's a lot more to come from the closing ceremony!
This Week's Top 5 Celebrity Beauty Looks
It was all so beautiful and simple in beauty land this week. We fell head over heels for Sophia Bush's understated elegance at the InStyle Summer Soirée — her red-brown lip and simple hairstyle were soft and pretty, but strong enough to make a big beauty statement. Two gorgeous models wowed us at Naomi Campbell's Fashion For Relief charity event — Naomi with her bare-looking skin and Lily Donaldson with her bold red lip; we love seeing staple beauty trends make a return on the red carpet. There's all this and more in our round-up of the top five beauty looks of the week, so get flicking, and start prepping!
Naomi Campbell Invites Her Supermodel Pals to Celebrate the Olympics
Naomi Campbell put her hostess-with-the-mostess hat on last night, putting on a star-studded charity benefit for Fashion for Relief in honour of the London Olympics. The supermodel invited a slew of her most stylish runway star-pals, with Lily Donaldson and Georgia May Jagger both going all glam in different takes on the LBD, but Queen Kate (Moss, not Middleton) opted for a bohemian vibe in a black kaftan-esque number embroidered with gold thread. Ronnie Wood and Vivienne Westwood added icon cred to the Brit-packed the guest list. Flip through to see this chic meet up of sport and style!
Candids: See What Kim Kardashian, Bryan Boy, Cheyenne Tozzi & More Have Been Up To This Week
We're still lusting after the Kanye West Air Yeezy II's — Kim Kardashian is one lucky lady. She posted a photo of her and Kanye wearing the sneakers, which we thought was pretty cute! Australian model and singer Cheyenne Tozzi was in town promoting her new single, and we got a sneak peek at her in Gucci right before she performed on morning TV. Kelly Osbourne (that hair!) showed her support for costar Joan Rivers' new book, and our favourite blogger friends Bryan Boy and Rumi Neelely had oysters at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. Chanel's Little Black Jacket Draws An A-List Crowd: See Who Wore What!
When Chanel throws a party, people frock up! The Karl Lagerfeld invited only the fashion industry's biggest hitters to fete the fashion house's iconic little black jacket. The topper, immortalized in a series of fabulous photographs, was surprisingly not the jacket of choice for the attendees. Instead we saw sexy leather skinnies from Jessica Hart, a delightful floral maxi from Poppy Delevingne, signature black on black from Carine Roitfeld, a chic white two-piece from Lily Collins and a subtly sexy LWD from Caroline Sieber. From supermodels bffs to designer pals to editrix colleagues, see who wore what to party down with King Karl!
Candids: See What Lara Bingle, Megan Gale, Laura Dundovic & More Have Been Up To This Week
It was a week full of new hairstyles, bare-faced beauty and even a birthday (happy birthday Mel B!). Lara Bingle has been out of the country filming her new reality show, Being Lara Bingle, and this week she left LA and arrived in India. Megan Gale proved the real reason she's one of Australia's most beautiful women — she looks at her best with no makeup on! We love stars who go natural. Laura Dundovic had her hair done — and we all know there's nothing better than that — and Australian model Cheyenne Tozzi got a preview of the new Napoleon Life.Style store. Candids: See What Jessica Mauboy, the Olsen twins, Nicole Richie & More Have Been Up To This Week
It was great to see Australian starlet Jessica Mauboy and the cast of The Sapphires on the red carpet for Cannes last weekend, and the singer turned actress seemed to have a ball in London (walking around in red stilettos no less) following the premiere in France. Fashion editor, blogger and all-round awesome chick Elin Kling spent the night in LA for a Guess party — we thought she looked smoking hot in her Acne dress. Model Chanel Iman spent time in Miami and proved that she definitely fits the job description after being snapped looking amazing at twilight.
