Lookie! It's Australian '90s grunge model-of-the-moment Emma Balfour enjoying an international comeback thanks to Céline's new Fall '10 campaign. Juergen Teller captured the 40 year old beauty alongside French model Sigrid Agren. The last couple of years have seen Balfour return to her Aussie modelling roots as she appeared in countless designer campaigns including Willow, One Teaspoon and Jac + Jack, as well as on the catwalk for Ksubi. Céline's choice to use the more mature model comes as no surprise given the recent influx of '90s models hitting the runway for Fall '10/'11. What can I say, the girl's still got it.
Speaking of hot model mums ... Aussie model and now yummy mummy bares all for New Zealand's No.Magazine in this cinematic Holly Blake shoot, which references Marc Jacob's preferred photographer, Juergen Teller. We think Tiah looks more delectable than ever with her artfully tousled fiery locks and creamy skin. Warning: curves (and more nudity) ahead ...
What do you get when you mix one ridiculously cool family, an amazing photographer, and multicoloured zig zag prints? The new Missoni Spring ad campaign, but of course! Forget runway models, this season it's all about la famiglia, with Angela Missoni opting to flaunt her new collection with kids Margherita, Teresa and Francesco, parents (and Missoni founders) Ottavio and Rosita, and nephews Ottavio Jnr, Marco and Giacomo.
Designer Angela said of the shoot: "I wanted to highlight our reality and our lifestyle, which is reflected in our unique product and in the artisinal aspect. This campaign really reflects the mood I'm in these days, even from a design stance." Marc Jacobs favourite Juergen Teller shot the relaxed images over dinner at Rosita and Ottavio's house, unable to stop snapping the genetically (and fashionably) blessed family.
Leaving the toilets behind this time round, Marc Jacobs and Juergen Teller enlisted the help of blonde beauty Hannah Holman to showcase the colourful Spring Marc by Marc Jacobs range. I'm loving the clashing colours and key accessories set against the deserted background — it all looks very wearable and fun.
What do you think of these images? Are they classic Jacobs/Teller style, or are you a little underwhelmed?
Marc Jacobs has released his Spring/Summer 2010 ad campaign, featuring ballet dancer, turned model, turned singer, Jamie Bochert. Shot by Jacobs favourite Juergen Teller, the designer/photograher pair have stayed true to their slightly off-beat images, choosing to feature Jamie with one leg in a toilet as she models an amazing gown and handbag from the upcoming Summer range.
What are you thinking? Is this just plain weird, or can you see the creative side?
