Last night's GLAAD Media Awards in LA drew a out an A-list crowd - and the A-list looks to go with it. Hollywood heavyweights like Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence, and Drew Barrymore - who played host for the event - gave us evening glamour of the chicest kind. Charlize stepped arrived in a halter-style black Jason Wu jumpsuit, while Drew posed in a long-sleeve floral-print skirt set, and Jennifer showed off a flared David Koma LBD (and a new bob!). He worked with Lancôme's Diane Kendal on that perfect indigo shade, a mix of liners, and a shadow - which included a key shade from his upcoming collaboration with Lancôme - for the exaggerated winged look. Odile Gilbert for Kérastase created an elegant, tucked-and-folded bun for a tidy, woven coif, which is best described as a bob-meets-chignon.

Taipei-born designer Jason Wu has quite an eclectic background. He started out as a freelance doll clothing designer, but quickly made a name for himself with real girls in the fashion world with his luxe, superfeminine sportswear wares. Jason Wu Scores a Cosmetics Deal With Lancôme

Michelle Obama isn't the only one getting her fill of Jason Wu: Lancôme announced that it'll be working with the designer on a makeup collection come northern Autumn. "What was so intriguing about partnering with Lancôme is the notion that the brand doesn't impose a model of beauty but rather invites women to embrace themselves," Wu told WWD. "This is the embodiment of a truly modern, sexy and confident woman, much like the women I design for." We expect to get a glimpse of Wu's vision (and possibly products) for the line at his Fall 2013 showing at New York Fashion Week. However, it's sure to exude a feminine and bold palette.

Prior to this collaboration, Jason Wu has dabbled in beauty with a candle for Nest Fragrances and a line of polishes for US brand CND. As for Lancôme, the beauty brand has already inked deals with other fashion bigwigs, including Lanvin's Alber Elbazand handbag-maker Olympia Le-Tan. This year is already shaping up to be filled with haute collaborations.

This was the case this week as some of our fave sartorial stars hit the fashion circuit in outfits that catapulted them straight onto our best-dressed list. Diane Kruger was always going to be on the list - that girl works Chanel like it's nobody's business - and Lou Doillon was the perfect reminder of how the French are innately cool. We're not usually fixated on American politics - but the American inauguration celebrations have popped up onto our style-centric radar. Michelle Obama has actually managed to outdo herself in one fell custom ruby red Jason Wu gown swoop. Yes, the FLOTUS has stayed loyal to the young American designer who was behind her ethereal white Inaugural Ball gown four years ago, and this latest creation is just as stunning. The undeniably adorable image of the Obamas dancing is distracting enough, but we've already set our sights on the chiffon-and-velvet halter-style gown, which doesnt' short on the glamour. To complement the siren hue, she wore Jimmy Choo heels and according to CNN, a custom Kimberly McDonald diamond ring, too. This latest ensemble, albeit the most formal, comes at the end of a long day of epic history-making outfits.Michelle Obama was spotted leaving St. John's Church initially sporting a navy printed Thom Browne coat, black J.Crew pumps and Cathy Waterman diamond stud earrings. While the First Lady later arrived at the Capitol for the swearing-in ceremony wearing the same coat, she punched it up with a seriously embellished J. Crew waist belt, proving her continued prowess in the outfit-revamp department. It also appears she has switched out of her J.Crew pumps and into black suede knee-high boots. To finish, Michelle wore gorgeous berry-hued leather gloves - a fitting Winter accessory that packs as much polish as it does functionality.
