Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann and Megan Fox celebrated the premiere of their new movie, This Is 40, in LA last night. Megan, wearing Roland Mouret, and Paul were joined by their co-star Leslie, in a Vionnet dress, and her family. Leslie's husband, Judd Apatow, directed the film, and their two daughters, Maude and Iris Apatow, play Leslie and Paul's children in the movie, which is loosely billed as a sequel to 2007's Knocked Up. Jason Segel, who is also in the film, attended the premiere but without girlfriend Michelle Williams by his side. Lena Dunham dropped by the event to show some support for Judd, an executive producer on her show, Girls. Lena was spotted goofing around with friend Aubrey Plaza on the red carpet.

This has been a busy few months for Megan since she gave birth to her first child, Noah, on Sept. 27. Megan said that becoming a mum has changed her attitude towards her work. According to Megan, "It changes your perspective about being overly sexual in a film when you have a baby."

Late Australian actor Heath Ledger's mum and stepfather, Sally and Roger Bell, flew over to the US last week to spend quality time with their granddaughter, Matilda. Matilda and her mum, Michelle Williams, were joined at the Bronx Zoo in New York by Michelle's boyfriend Jason Segel, who seems to have taken on a fatherly role for the little girl. Jason reportedly reached out a few weeks ago and expressed his desire to get to know Heath's family — and it looks like this is the beginning of a lovely connection. Heath's death in 2008 devastated those close to him, so it's great to see that they're all still close and looking happy on their day trip. Click through to see more pictures of the cute family!

There was plenty to keep us occupied this week as we farewelled Winter here in the Southern Hemisphere (hooray!) and celebrated various events taking place in our Northern counterparts. The 69th Venice International Film Festival kicked off on August 29, and we watched a bevy of beautiful people — such as Kate Hudson — as they got into the party spirit. But it was more of a family-filled week for some of our other favourite celebrity mums, like Hilary Duff and Michelle Williams — they were snapped taking their cute kids out to farmer's markets and for ice-cream in LA and New York, while back down under, a couple of "foxy morons" celebrated the release of their first film, Kath & Kimderella. Michelle Williams, Matilda Ledger and Jason Segel were together on Tuesday afternoon for a sweet treat of ice cream. Michelle, Matilda and Jason have been bonding around LA for the last month, while he works on the new season of How I Met Your Mother. The past few months for Michelle have been relatively free, allowing her to spend time with her boyfriend and her daughter. She had to break from the relaxing to promote Oz: The Great and Powerful at Comic-Con, and she was apparently called back to do some reshoots for that picture as well.

Michelle Williams returned to NYC from San Diego on the weekend and wasted no time catching up with her 6-year-old daughter, Matilda Ledger, and boyfriend Jason Segel. Michelle, Jason and Matilda watched Broadway musical Jersey Boys on Saturday and did some home wares shopping, and then on Sunday the trio enjoyed an outdoor lunch in Brooklyn, making the most of the NYC sunshine.

Michelle attended Comic-Con lin San Diego late last week to talk about her upcoming movie Oz: The Great and Powerful, and she left Matilda, her daughter with the late Heath Ledger, in Jason’s care. Matilda was spotted showing Jason some cute dance moves on the NYC streets in her mother’s absence.

Michelle Williams rocked a sexy Altuzarra dress last night at the NYC premiere of her new movie, Take This Waltz. It was her latest press event for the film which you can see at select cinemas now. Michelle also promoted the picture during the Tribeca Film Festival back in April. Since then, Michelle's been busy shooting Oz: Great and Powerful as well as focusing on her new relationship with Jason Segel. He even joined in on Thursday night's fun at the afterparty, held inside the Sons of Essex restaurant. Jason and Michelle have been spotted multiple times hanging out around her Brooklyn neighbourhood, including at her favourite restaurant, Frankie's.

It's been a busy old time for some of our favourite celebrities this week. It was great to see Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban on the red carpet together for Richard Wilkins' Downs Syndrome fundraiser on Friday night — what a great couple! Delta, Joel and Seal were also in attendance. Charlize Theron shocked us all when she shaved her head, and Lady Gaga continued her tour with a stop in Brisbane. Deborra-Lee Furness surprised her husband Hugh Jackman at the Tony Awards by presenting him with his trophy — cute! April 2012 shall be known as ‘The Month Hollywood Came to Australia.’ Being so far removed from where all the action happens, it’s easy to see why we get so excited when celebrities make the trip Down Under. This past month we were overwhelmed with the amount of talent to hit our shores — not to mention all the hot guys who had girls losing their voices from screaming so much! At the beginning of April some of the A-listers who’d flown out for the launch of Marquee Sydney stayed around to do some sight-seeing, and then we had Zac Efron, One Direction, Chace Crawford, the stars of Battleship . . . At the moment we’re still playing host to Revenge’s Emily VanCamp and Joshua Bowman, The Five-Year Engagement’s Emily Blunt and Jason Segel, and Whitney Port, who’s here for MBFWA. We’ve got our fingers crossed that plenty more stars head our way soon!
