Calvin Klein may have been simple on the runway, but the front row crowd definitely helped amp up the WOW factor. The show managed to lure an exciting crowd including Isabel Lucas, Helena Christensen, Kate Bosworth and Naomi Watts, while Jessica Biel and JT made a sneaky appearance at the Paris68 parade.
I'm a little sad that NY Fashion Week didn't attract more fashionable faces this year (WHERE are you Rachel Bilson?); perhaps the upcoming London and Paris shows will deliver more on the A-lister front. As we bid farewell to The Big Apple (sniff!) and start to welcome in the London shows, let's go through the last round of celeb appearances one last time!
Isabel Lucas stepped out on the red carpet for the local premiere of her new movie Daybreakers. The beautiful Aussie star looked radiant in a multicoloured Josh Goot shift dress and matching jewelled cocktail rings. This classic shape really works in her favour, see how the peach colourway nips in at the waist, creating the illusion of curves? Simple yet striking, I adore this look. How about you?
It wasn't all about brights at the 11th Annual Warner Brothers and InStyle Golden Globes after party last night, with a few celebs working their magic on earthy tones and glistening metallics.
Isabel Lucas toned down her sequins, opting for a long Chanel dress and matching scarf combo, while Vanessa Hudgens showed off her pins in a bubble-hem Alberta Ferretti mini dress. Rachel Zoe styled herself in a black and gold cut-out sleeve number mixed back with ever present platform pumps, and Kate Bosworth stuck to white, pure and simple, teamed back with Cartier jewels and classic cream stilettos. The girls look lovely, but who stands out?
Vanity Fair has zoned in on a handful of young Hollywood stars for their February issue, profiling Australia's very own Isabel Lucas and rock royalty Zoë Kravitz. Photgraphed by Patrick Demarchelier, the youthful stars looked both sexy and glamorous in their shots, wearing dresses by Calvin Klein (Lucas) and Jasper Conran (Kravitz). A touch of bling by Monique Péan and Tiffany & Co. completed their looks. Gorgeous! Check out more from the shoot and other featured stars such as Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez, here.
Australian über model Abbey Lee Kershaw features in a heavenly white editorial for Vogue Italia's November Issue. Shot by photographer Yelena Yemchuk, Kershaw sizzles in wide leg pants, draping gowns and embellished detailing. Australians are obviously a firm favourite for the title, also featuring Kershaw in their December 2008 issue, as well as recently choosing actress Isabel Lucas for their September 09 cover. La Dolce Vita indeed!
