Fab flash! There has been some major reshuffling in the local world of glossies today, with news coming via the Sydney Morning Herald that Vogue's editor in chief Kirstie Clements is making a hasty exit from the masthead after 13 years, ten of which she spent in the top job. Clements' editrix chair is set to be filled by Edwina McCann, who is currently the editor at Harper's Bazaar. McCann said of the move "I started my career at Vogue and I am very excited about returning to work for the world's most powerful fashion media brand. The opportunities for this formidable brand online and in a social media landscape are endless and our future is very bright indeed." The question now remains, who will step into McCann's stiletto-heeled shoes?

Miranda Kerr channels an Italian goddess on the November cover of Harper’s Bazaar. The Aussie model posed the accompanying sexy shoot by Simon Lekias when she was last in Sydney for her David Jones and KORA Organics work commitments. Inside the magazine she also shows off her nude, bronzed body with a saucy shot of her lying naked across a bed. She’s just finished a modelling stint at Paris Fashion Week, and in the interview she talks about living a balanced life, becoming a mother to Flynn Bloom, her first child with Orlando, and future aspirations. Miranda said:

• On her food philosophy: “I always say life is about balance, not about depriving yourself. If you want something then I encourage you to have it. When you deprive yourself, you naturally crave it more.”
• On how Flynn brings her happiness: “I’d say what makes me happy is having this little man. I’m the happiest when I’m surrounded by those I love and we are in a natural environment.”
• On whether she’d act: “If someone approached me and it sounded interesting, I wouldn’t be opposed to it, but it’s not something I think about.”

While we've seen her grace the pages of Vogue, Ms Chung's latest role is cover girl for Harper's Bazaar Australia's October issue. The vibrant (and funny!) television host spoke of the shoot at a press conference for ACP Magazine's 30 Days of Fashion and Beauty. The shoot was lensed by her close friend Angelo Pennetta, with the cover featuring Alexa looking as pretty as a picture in an intricate white lace dress from the Chanel 2012 Resort Collection. "It was [shot] in this beautiful Chateau in the middle of Paris on the sunniest day ever," Alexa said. "Angelo is a good friend of mine . . . it was quite awkward to pretend to be sexy. We had to keep stopping in between shots and be like 'shake it off, shake it off!' . . . it was really fun." Harper's Bazaar's October issue will hit newsstands on September 5th.

Now this is a collaboration we want to see in the flesh. Kanye West's rumoured fashion line is getting more legit by the nanosecond, with Harper's Bazaar posting yesterday that their very own fashion editor Christine Centenera has been working with Kanye on his design debut since March. The pair met and hit it off during A/W '11 Paris Fashion Week (bonding over their shared love of Céline, perhaps?), and Centenera has been flown twice monthly to Paris since to help consult on the much-anticipated line. Her desk buddy in the Bazaar office, and online editor, Anna McLeod said "It’s all very hush-hush at this stage, and Centenera refuses to discuss it when she is actually in the office, stating that West is a very private person and that it’s not her place to comment." Given the Sartorialist-regular's enviable personal style, we can't wait to see the Australian flavour Christine gives to Kanye's S/S '12 collection. Hurry up New York Fashion Week — we want to see! What a stylish friendship! Kim Ellery has teamed up with star of I Am Number Four Teresa Palmer for Harper's Bazaar magazine, and we got a peek at the behind-the-scenes action via the label's new website. The stylish actress plays muse to designer Kym Ellery for the April edition of Harper's and by the look of this video, it looks like a fun day was had by all! Get a guided tour of the designer's sketch-filled studio, which doubles as the location for this über chic shoot. In our research we stumbled across Ellery's A/W look book which was shot on site at the Château de Champlâtreux in Paris. This luxe setting for "Tenenbaums in the Tuileries" perfectly suits the collection, which mixes Marie Antoinette-esque luxury with Margot Tenenbaum's cool-as insouciance.
