Miranda Kerr rugged up in a tough all-black look on Sunday to drop her two-year-old son Flynn off at his dad Orlando Bloom’s NYC apartment so the boys could spend quality time together. Despite announcing their separation in October, Miranda and Orlando have stayed true to their word of continuing to be a family unit for the sake of their son, and the three spent the Thanksgiving holiday together. However, the former couple’s relationship made headlines again over the weekend with reports that Miranda is dating businessman and casino mogul James Packer, who split from his wife Erica Packer earlier this year. According to Woman’s Day, which published the source article today, Miranda and James’ relationship developed during secret overseas trips.
Though Miranda and Orlando announced their separation in October, the former couple has clearly been keeping their relationship on good terms. They've both been busy working in the Big Apple — Orlando on Broadway and Miranda on various photo shoots — but are making sure to spend time together for the sake of their little boy. As Orlando said about the split late last month, "We love each other. We're a family and we're going to be in each other's lives for the rest of our lives."
Thanks to his Broadway debut in a revival of Romeo and Juliet, Orlando Bloom is staying put in NYC for the next few months. And that means plenty more father-son dates between the actor and his two-year-old boy Flynn when he’s not hitting the stage. Having just split from wife Miranda Kerr, Orlando's taken to the streets and parks with Flynn for regular activities like playing on the swings and walking Orlando’s adopted black Saluki mix, Sidi. On Sunday they were spotted in matching grey coats in Manhattan, and later that day Orlando took his mini-me to watch his performance.
From his early days as a father, Orlando has gushed about the experience. When Flynn was just months old, the Pirates of the Caribbean star said of parenthood, “It’s awesome, I love it. I hate that word but I love being a father; it’s changed everything in so many ways.” He’s been hands-on from the start, so check out some of his sweetest moments with Flynn — with many more to come!

Miranda Kerr coordinated with her cute little one, Flynn, during the pair's Big Apple outing on Saturday. Sporting leather jackets, the sweet mother-son duo walked around NYC together following Miranda's trip overseas. Last week, the model jetted to Japan for a fashionable bash to celebrate her Elle Japan cover with Michael Kors. The event took place on the same night as the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and although the former Angel had been asked to walk in the show, she had to skip out because of her trip to Asia.
Although Miranda couldn't make it, she showed her support for the rest of the Angels by posting a throwback picture on Instagram of herself with Doutzen Kroes and Alessandra Ambrosio. The photo triggered some backlash, though, with fans pointing out that the picture had been Photoshopped, but Miranda cleared the air with another Instagram post, explaining that she'd taken a screenshot from the Internet and hadn't realized that it was an altered picture. She added, "Sorry for all the confusion and congratulations to the girls for such a great show!"
Flynn's time with Miranda came after a fun day in the city with his dad, Orlando Bloom, on Friday. The actor carried Flynn on his shoulders, while the little one held on to a sword, and the two laughed together as they walked around NYC. Orlando has been busy on Broadway lately, taking the stage for Romeo and Juliet, but he enjoyed a solo night out last week when he attended the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards. Orlando and Miranda have both been busy with work since their breakup, but they've stayed on great terms. He opened up about their split late last month, saying, "We love each other. We're a family and we're going to be in each other's lives for the rest of our lives."
Miranda Kerr had a special greeter when she arrived back in NYC yesterday for a very quick stop at home. The model mum was welcomed back to the Big Apple by her son, Flynn Bloom, who sat waiting for his mother in their SUV. Today, Miranda was back at JFK airport to catch yet another flight out of town. Miranda's estranged husband Orlando Bloom was not on hand to greet Miranda or drop her off, but he has been busy taking care of Flynn while Miranda has been out of town. Orlando gave Flynn a piggyback ride as they walked through the streets of NYC earlier this week, and he and Miranda have been staying close to one another while they take care of their 2-year-old son.
Miranda took a quick trip to LA this week to take part in a photo shoot on the West Coast. Although Miranda and Orlando have been separated for a few months, the two have both relocated to NYC while Orlando works on his new play, Romeo and Juliet, on Broadway.
When it comes to his professional life, though, things are on the up-and-up for Orlando. He is still hitting the stage seven nights a week in the Broadway production of Romeo and Juliet, and the trailers for his latest film, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, were released this week. Orlando reprises his role as Legolas in the second installment in the series, which comes out on Dec. 26.

In terms of celebrity events and Aussie-centric news, it's been a pretty massive week to keep up with! First came the sad news that Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom have parted ways after six years together — but what got people talking the most was that the pair were spotted hanging out together the next day. It was all about adorable celebrity babies on Instagram this week — and if stars weren't posting about their offspring, it was all things Halloween! Miranda Kerr and her little boy Flynn looked too cute all dressed up for a night of trick-or-treating, while Guy Sebastian's little one stole our hearts with an adorable appearance on the singer's Instagram feed. Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom didn't look like a couple that had just recently separated when they stepped out with their son, Flynn, in NYC on Monday. The former couple smiled and chatted while Orlando carried Flynn, who was holding onto a trick-or-treat pumpkin bucket. The two also exchanged kisses on each other's cheeks while walking with Flynn. Miranda and Orlando looked as if they were on friendly terms on Saturday, when they went for a walk together in the Big Apple with Flynn just one day after confirming their separation. The couple had been dating since 2007 and tied the knot in July 2010. They both relocated to NYC in August while Orlando continued work on his new Broadway play Romeo and Juliet, although they said in a statement that they had "amicably separated" several months ago.
Over the weekend, Orlando continued to keep his spirits high and did not take the chance to insult his estranged wife. When a reporter asked him if he was still friends with his ex, he said, "We're not friends — we're family."
