As if we needed another reason to adore 13 year old Elle Fanning, the teenage style queen makes us love her even more in this cute behind the scenes clip for her February Teen Vogue cover shoot. Showing more poise in her little pinky that we could have mustered at the same age, Elle talks candidly about looking up to big sister Dakota (awwww), her penchant for (age appropriate) ruffles and bows on the red carpet and the awesome-sounding denim Guess jacket from the '80s that she's currently obsessed by. Having a style icon who is half your age? Totally fine if it's either of the Fanning girls, we say.

Elle Fanning continues to prove that youth is no barrier to great taste, showing up today at the Super 8 LA premiere in this vintage 70s dress and tan wedge ensemble. Although a little princessy, we think the cream sheer sleeved, embellished dress is grounded perfectly by Elle's wooden soled wedges, and is giving us flashbacks of The Virgin Suicides (in a good way). I hate to admit it, but I'm quite jealous of tween actor Elle Fanning. She might be just 12 years old, but she has already starred in Sofia Coppola's movie Somewhere and has now landed the starring role in Rodarte's short film The Curve of Forgotten Things. We've had our eye on the stylish tween, and it looks like Elle's star is on the rise. The Mulleavy sisters (who sharpened their fashion/film teeth on Black Swan) worked with Todd Cole on the production, which will premiere next Tuesday. Cole commented on the film, "It’s inspired by Northern California, and the Seventies. It’s about this girl who exists in this strange place outside of time.
