There were two designers whose names were all over the best-dressed lists this week: Christian Dior and Prabal Gurung. Their incredible designs were seen on the likes of Nicole Kidman, Diane Kruger, Jennifer Lawrence and more this week, and we've gotta say, we're seeing some of their best work ever. Diane Kruger might be the only star who can pull off a belly-button-exposing top at a high-class Vogue dinner (and pull it off she did), and we were thrilled to see Jennifer Lawrence opt for something different after a sea of black during the awards season a few months ago. Olivia Palermo showed prints who's boss, Nicole Kidman earned her mega-star status, and Sienna Miller? Well, let's just say we're glad she's back on the scene. Top Ten Best Dressed of the Week: Miranda, Rosie, Kate & More!
Yes, the Met Gala may have dominated the fashion headlines this week (did you see the gowns?). But, that doesn't mean we didn't have other stylish opportunities to serve our search for this week's best-dressed celebrities. Miranda Kerr and Sarah Jessica Parker's versions of dressing down — Miranda wore a loose Vivienne Westwood jumpsuit and Alexander Wang heels to a showing of The Great Gatsby, SJP wore a vintage floral dress — proved to be some of our favourite looks of theirs. . . There's something about stars not trying too hard that we love. Kate Bosworth made a case for flared skirts (hers by Miu Miu), and of course, we're still impressed by some of the Met Gala style winners — namely, Rooney Mara and Rosie HW. Want more? Right this way!
2013 Met Gala: Diane Kruger
Diane Kruger may walked the red carpet a little late, but that didn't stop us from zooming in on her take on Punk Couture. Ms K donned a delicate sheer and lace spliced gown from Chanel's S/S '13 haute couture collection - which by itself would look utterly pretty — but with a few key hair and makeup tweaks Diane toughed-up the glamorous gown. A pink-dipped ponytail and heavy smoky eye gave her otherwise feminine frock the edge it needed for this year's Met Gala. Are you a fan?

Top Ten Best Dressed of the Week: Megan Gale, Jess Hart, Lara Bingle & More
What we've learned from this week's Top 10 round-up? Black is, and always will be, the new black. With majority of our best-dressed stars stepping out in black — or a something almost as dark — we were reminded of the power that a sexy, moody number can yield. Megan Gale's cut-out sheath is a case in point, highlighting her fabulous body and giving her a more mysterious edge. Lara Bingle and Diane Kruger opted for very similar takes on the midnight tone, both sporting tuxedo dresses and bare legs — masculine dressing has never been so sexy. Of course, someone had to lighten things up. . . And who better than Aussie model Jess Hart? She hit the streets of New York in a happy mish-mash of pastels, and we couldn't have loved her colour palette more. There's more to see — take a sartorial step this way, if you please.
Olivia, Saoirse, and Diane Make a Very Chic Trio at The Host Premiere
The Host's NYC red carpet drew out a trio of event-worthy looks from Diane Kruger, Saoirse Ronan, and Olivia Palermo on Thursday. The film's leading ladies faced off in two distinct takes on red-carpet dressing: Diane paired a Chanel minidress with a pair of over-the-knee Christian Louboutin boots, while her co-star Saoirse stepped out in a more high-impact hued, asymmetrical Proenza Schouler sheath. To add to the style prowess at the premiere, Olivia joined the cast, arriving in a leather sheath dress, which she gave the quintessential Olivia Palermo styling treatment with a healthy dose of eclectic accessories, including a pair of feather-trimmed heels and an embroidered clutch. Now that you've got all the outfit details, it's time to weigh in — who stole the show at The Host's NYC premiere?
A Week In Chic: Diane Kruger
Diane Kruger is continuing her streak-of-chic on the press tour for her new movie The Host. She's hopped from LA to NYC this week, switching effortlessly between her off-duty uniform of skinnies and killer accessories and red carpet designer dresses. It looks like Ms Kruger has taken a leaf out of our black and white styling gallery, sticking to a clean colour monochrome palette for her press duties. Even though it's a short week, there's still plenty to see! Step inside to see her Week In Chic . . .
Top Ten Best Dressed of the Week: Megan Gale, Jessica Alba, Diane Kruger & More
We could rename this the week of the Little Black Dress, after we spied numerous style-setters stepping out in the the classic wardrobe piece. Diane Kruger's sheer-panelled Thakoon number was pure perfection — classy, with a hint of sex appeal thrown in for good measure — and those silver shoes! We couldn't get enough. Also in LBDs? Megan Gale, in form-fitting leather and Rachel Bilson, who went with a rainbow twist on the classic. Then there was Jessica Alba in some of the coolest pants we've seen, visiting model Barbara Palvin in a feminine white sheath, one model in a very popular jumpsuit and more. It's all in here, click through to see it all!
See Diane Kruger's Sexy Sheer Thakoon Look From All Angles
Upon hearing news that Diane Kruger was kicking off the press tour for The Host, we did a little happy dance. Why? Diane is one of Hollywood's most stylish leading ladies and she never (and we mean never) disappoints on the red rug. Case in point: she chased up her tummy-baring red leather ensemble with a sexy take on the classic LBD yesterday at the LA premiere. Diane chose an embroidered and sheer-panelled Thakoon number from the American designer's A/W '13 collection, teaming the flirty look with a pair of solid silver Jimmy Choo shoe-booties. Diane was clearly in fine form on the night, making lovey-dovey eyes at beau Joshua Jackson and laying a big sloppy one co-star Saoirse Ronan. Get a good look at her killer ensemble, from every angle.
See Diane Kruger Look Red Hot — and Show Off Midriff
Diane Kruger kicked off the promo tour yesterday with a book signing in LA for her new movie, The Host, where she stars alongside Max Irons and Jake Abel. We love seeing Diane on the red carpet, and lucky for us, this movie means we'll be seeing a whole lot of red-carpet style from the German actress. Showing off her svelte frame, Diane chose a look consisting of a Carven crop top, expertly styled with a Vanessa Bruno red leather skirt. This is just the first of the style setter's promotional looks, so stay tuned as we document all of Diane's red carpet cameos!
Top Ten Best Dressed of the Week: Jennifer, Miranda, Diane & More
It looks like monochrome dressing is the next big thing in style — at least, if you look to these ladies for inspiration! And let's face it, who doesn't? When celebrities look this good, it's hard to not want to emulate every piece from head to toe. Diane Kruger was back on the radar after a quiet few weeks — her Giambattista Valli minidress had a new take on cool capes (remember Gwyneth's Tom Ford?). Miranda Kerr continued her reign as the people's queen of street style when she stepped out in sexy skinnies and a classic topper, while Solange Knowles brightened the week up with a strong hit of marigold. And no one will ever forget the moment Jennifer Lawrence stepped onto the red carpet at the Oscars. With that gorgeous bell-shaped Dior, we reckon she knew that each step she took was fashion history in the making. Keen to see these looks up close? Come this way.
