Those Victoria's Secret angels sure know how to dress for attention! Alessandro Ambrosio showed off her toned and tanned skin in a cut-out scarlet gown that matched her creamy red lip colour. Sensibly choosing to pare back the rest of her makeup look (take note, Eniko Mahalik), Alessandro wore only mascara and a subtle shimmering white under her lower lash line to open up the eyes. Her streaked hair was worn in bouncy bombshell curls naturally. Thoughts?

Just the other week we were discussing Eniko Mahalik's fabulous faux glow, but at today's CFDA Fashion Awards the Hungarian model appears to have missed the mark. Individual elements of her look work, but all together sadly they're too much. She'd have been wise to play up her hair, her eyes or her lip, but instead she's chosen all three, opting for a dual-textured big-bodied curled ponytail that sits on the side, with a bronze and golden metallic eye and a Rodarte-esque metallic lip. If she'd stuck with a sleek bun and maybe leaned off the eyeliner a little, we would've been much more wowed. What do you think of it? Are you a fan?

A coral-red lip is leather's best friend. Well, so says Chloë Sevigny who turned to her signature shade (MAC's Lady Danger) once again for the CFDA Fashion Awards. A wash of shimmering gold shadow (she clearly got the metallics memo), followed by a hint of espresso liner and mascara on the top and bottom lashes completed Sevigny's fail-safe palette. She wore her bob pulled back and parted in the centre. It's nothing new, but we love it anyway. You too?

We know that Kanye is a big fan of Phoebe Philo and her design ethos for French luxury brand Céline, but Kanye really put his heart on the line when presenting the designer with her International Fashion award. The chummy duo posed for pics, and we couldn't help but notice Kanye's business-up-top, chillaxed-beneath-the-belt ensemble. Taking tips from Chloë, are we Mr West? He teamed a crisp white tee and blazer with baggy-fit jeans and the most casual shoes he could find; slippers! We're sure they're designer scuffs, and noticed them pop up on runways at New York Fashion Week, but tell us; are Kanye's CFDA house-shoes ahead of the curve or just plain inappropriate?
