Nicole Richie stepped out in a molten dress with a distinct '90s feel, Mirand Kerr debuted a romantic lace number with a zesty kick and Olivia Palermo got into a 1920's frame of mind — all to our immense approval. The CFDA Awards yesterday delivered fierce fashions in the form of slinky metallic dresses and illusion detailing thanks to Nicole Richie and Erin Wasson. In today's Fashion Flash, we're recapping the night's big highlights and covering the best-dressed stars. Who else made our list? Watch on to find out.
We've said it before and we'll say it again: no one throws a party like the fashion industry. After yesterday's CFDA Awards, the industry gathered at a collection of after-parties that brought together designers, models, and celebrities alike. Swarovski hosted an official afterparty at the Top of The Standard at New York's Standard hotel, where nearly everyone who walked the red carpet was spotted. Karlie Kloss blew kisses at the camera, while Prabal Gurung simply smooched his date, Candice Swanepoel, on the cheek. A look at all those pictures and more, straight ahead.

As for this year's honourees? The rundown here:
The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards took over the Lincoln Center in NYC today. The awards recognise and celebrate the talented designers in the US fashion industry, and the event always attracts a stylish mix of industry insiders, models and celebrities, who are called upon to present some of the honours.
A Givenchy-clad Jessica Chastain was on hand to present Riccardo Tisci, the designer of her dress, with the International Award, and Rose Byrne presented Phillip Lim with the Accessories Designer of the Year honour. Stylish sisters Elizabeth and Mary-Kate Olsen stuck to black for the evening, but Miranda Kerr, Sofia Vergara and Kerry Washington brightened things up in their dresses.

There are few honours in fashion that can make a designer's career like a CFDA Swarovski Award. This year's nominees represent the best new talent in three divisions: womenswear, accessories, and menswear. Each approaching fashion with their own perspective and aesthetic, the nominated brands and designers have all quickly established themselves as front-runners of new talent in their respective markets. The nine nominees may have already introduced themselves last week at a cocktail party to debut a collection of specially designed Swarovski-encrusted objets d'art, but we've gathered them all up again — complete with engaging videos and a cheat sheet of need-to-know facts — to make sure you're completely informed on this stylish set for today's main event.
