There's no doubt Seafolly is synonymous globally with Australian beach culture — the home-grown label counts ASOS, Selfridges and Nordstrom amongst its 800 worldwide stockists — and now Seafolly is expanding its global presence even further. After six years wholesaling to the U.S., the much-loved swim brand will launch its first stand-alone U.S. store in Newport Beach, Orange County, this October. The 1800-square-foot California location will be Seafolly's 13th store worldwide after 10 in Australia and 2 in Singapore. Seafolly's CEO, Anthony Halas said "Orange County is a logical place for us to start to learn the U.S. market. In addition, we will open our online store in the U.S concurrently with our bricks and mortar store."
The news comes after a stand-out show at Miami Swim Week earlier this month, where the brand was applauded for its hyper-coloured collection and mimimal floral prints.
To celebrate their flash new digs, Seafolly models stormed New York's Time Square (!!) last week — and we have all the behind-the-scenes shots. Take a peek.
