The Serpentine gallery in Hyde Park, London held it's annual Summer party last week attracting some very stylish guests. Models, socialites, designers and artists all mingled together enjoying the English Summer evening. There were some gorgeous colourful ensembles like Lily Cole's blue maxi, whilst others stuck to a neutral palette with touches of metallic. Click through to see all the London style.
If ever there was a welcomed overload, it's Givenchy overload. Creative director Riccardo Tisci hosted a dinner for artist Marina Abramovic and dressed all his guests in head-to-toe Givenchy. Bjork and Eastern European beauty Natasha Poly opted for gold and white, while the remaining ladies, including Ciara and Liv Tyler, donned pitch black. Most worked demure sexy, but one daring gal, Givenchy model Mariacarla Boscono, showed off her bra, and more. Fade into the darkness . . .
After the author of Classy: Exceptional Advice For the Extremely Modern Lady, Derek Blasberg, chatted with Fab in San Francisco, he flew to LA to celebrate again. The Beverly Hills soiree was one star-studded event — Nicole Richie, Kate Bosworth, and Margherita Missoni (my fave trifecta!) served as hostesses with the mostess, all in Missoni! Other guests who helped carry the party into the wee hours included Malin Akerman, Dasha Zhukova, Nicky Hilton, Jeremy Scott, and more. Step inside for the juicy details.
This week, Valentino-styled celebs stepped out to honour the label's creative directors, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli — and share a few cocktails — in West Hollywood. Chloe Sevigny and Kate Bosworth played hostesses, along with Teen Vogue's Lisa Love, and set the fashion bar high — I'm crushing hard on Kate's red leather pants. True Blood couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer brought their A-game, and Amber Valletta wowed with something leggy. Click on to get the whole Valentino-clad crew.
There was a broad range of style at last night's Us Weekly Hot Hollywood party in LA. You had colour, bustiers, legs, ruffles, pants, and beading. But top salute goes to Kelly Osbourne and Anna Kendrick. Kelly rocked the quintessential (read) Jeremy Scott LBD, and her beau was quite dashing in a tux, while Anna wore an awesome Emilio Pucci aquatic frock. Proceed for more of the most hotties . . .
Last night, two Alices teamed up to throw a fun party at London's Selfridges. Ms.Temperley held an Alice in Wonderland themed party to celebrate both the new Disney film and the latest Alice by Alice Temperley collection. There were performances by Courtney Love and New Young Pony Club whilst party goers danced and sipped champagne which was literally labeled "drink me". Some of Alice's celebrity friends attended the party including Jasmine Guiness, Jade Parfitt, Emilia Fox and Jade Jagger whilst Alice Dellal DJ'd. See below for more photos from the party.
The second installment of Sonia Rykiel Pour H&M, the "Queen of Knits," drops internationally on Feb. 20. In the meantime, let's check out the fun launch party photos. The swanky soiree took place at Bobo in New York and was hosted by Sonia's daughter, Nathalie. Also in attendance were Amanda Hearst, singer Michelle Williams, and Gossip Girls Leighton Meester and Kelly Rutherford. The bright knits were on display, but the cutest sight of the night? DJ Chanel Iman! Enter for more partay action.
I wouldn't have minded being at Le Grand Palais in Paris for the Sonia Rykiel For H&M fashion show and festivities last night. Sure, I watched it go down on the web, but imagine how much more magical it would have been in person! Kate Bosworth described the event best: "It's crazy here. It’s like a carnival." Parisian socials, actresses, designers and fans all gathered for a night of chic madness. Rykiel, Eva Herzigova, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Nadja Auermann looked on as lingerie-clad models came down the catwalk riding bicycles, swinging on chandeliers and seducing on silky beds. Enter our gallery to experience the Parisian magic.
Last year it was in Botswana and this year? Brazil, baby! I'm talking about the highly anticipated 2010 Pirelli Calendar. Photographer Terry Richardson, here seen snapping Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, took his lens to the tropical locale to shoot scantily clad Brazilian models Ana Beatriz Barros, Gracie Carvalho, and non-Brazilians Eniko Mihalik, Miranda Kerr, Catherine McNeil, Daisy Lowe, Lily Cole, and more. Reverse cleavage, itty-bitty bikinis, and short shorts. It's beyond steamy in here!
