Would You Consider Anti-Ageing Treatments?

While most of us would like to defy odds and remain ever youthful, it seems the age of women opting for cosmetic or non-surgical treatments — derma fillers, laser, IPL and anti-wrinkle injections — to try and combat the ageing process is getting younger and younger.

While most of us would like to defy odds and remain ever youthful, it seems the age of women opting for cosmetic or non-surgical treatments — derma fillers, laser, IPL and anti-wrinkle injections — to try and combat the ageing process is getting younger and younger.

In a recent survey conducted by the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia (CPSA), the organisation asked two and a half million women aged between 18 and 29 whether or not they have had any form of anti-ageing procedures. The results were remarkable with 28 percent saying yes. While there is evidence to suggest that they can in fact delay the ageing process, Dr. Susan Austin, spokesperson from the CPSA, believes that young women should look at making changes to their lifestyle before heading down this road. So, what do you think? Would you consider a cosmetic procedure to hide your fine lines?
