It's the end of an era: this morning David Beckham announced that he will retire from soccer at the end of this season. While he may have made a name for himself (taking his shirt off) on the field as one of the sports' most iconic athletes, he has also become famous for one other thing: his sizzling underwear ads. Judging from his iconic spreads for Emporio Armani in 2009 and his most recent campaign for his line of bodywear for H&M, we can only hope this job is one that the sexy footballer won't soon retire from.
Just in: Gisele Bündchen Is the Face of H&M's Fall '13 Campaign
The bar was set high with Beyoncé's Summer campaign for H&M, so it only seems right to employ the supermodel services of Gisele Bündchen for the brand's Autumn 2013 campaign. The Brazilian beauty was spotted in London, posing in a cool lineup of cable-knit turtlenecks, navy blue peacoats, black moto-inspired ankle boots, newsboy caps, and printed shirtdresses. And let's be honest: if there's anyone that can make us want just about everythingin one fell swoop, it's Gisele. While we await the official campaign images, here's your first behind-the-scenes look at what's on tap for H&M's Fall '13 campaign.

Go Behind the Scenes on Mulberry's Under The Sea Spring '13 Campaign
If there's one thing that gets our attention faster than you can say "Mulberry Bayswater Bag" it's the term behind-the-scenes. We love getting access to the VIP areas on big name brand campaign shoots, so when Mulberry sent through the a sneaky look at the making of their latest Spring '13 advertising campaign we were all ears, or eyes to be precise. The making of these fabulously glossy images are sometimes just as, if not more, interesting than the final product — and Mulberry's pastel-hued, underwater wonderland is no exception.
British snapper extraordinaire Tim Walker illuminated us, saying "This season I wanted to focus on the girl as part of the landscape rather than a character within it and, as such, casting was crucial… thus the pictures of Meghan Collison become more like portraits. Meghan Collison was the perfect choice, strong, confident, able to hold your gaze but almost otherworldly, she inhabits a dreamscape.” Keep clicking to see what went on on set, as well as the finished product.

Girl to Watch: Ruby Jean Wilson is Marc Jacobs' Modish Muse

We knew that Terrigal-raised teen Ruby Jean Wilson had made a soft spot for herself in Marc Jacobs' heart, but this is the first photographic proof of her as the face of the designer's eponymous Spring '13 line. The brand released this first shot of the Juergen Teller-lensed campaign via their Facebook page yesterday, but a super excited tweet by Katie Grand, who styled the striking shoot, jumped the gun a few days earlier by tweeting a sneaky-peek shot. Ruby Jean has quickly risen from the pages of local glossies to the closing major international fashion shows (Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Marchesa and Marc Jacobs to name but a few), and now... her first big brand campaign. Not bad for a girl who is still only 18. Watch this face.
Happy Birthday, Ralph Lauren — a Look at the Brand's Iconic Ad Campaigns
Ralph Lauren has one of the most inspiring stories in the fashion industry. The designer, who grew up in the Bronx, started off his fashion adventure at an early age first working as a tie salesman at Brooks Brothers. In 1967, Lauren launched his own line of ties, then followed up with a complete menswear collection the year after. A few years after, Lauren introduced the world to his now iconic polo shirt with its signature horse rider emblem. Fast forward to present time, and the designer has since swept the world with his classic, effortless, beautiful American designs. In honour of Ralph Lauren's 73rd birthday yesterday, we've compiled some of the brand's amazing ad campaigns — most of which were shot by Bruce Weber — showing us what true Americana really is. Just click the slideshow to see all of the iconic moments.
