Guess who wore these divine platform sandals by Elie Saab?
Just when Fab favourite Diane Kruger is trying to wear less white, Hollywood is selecting it as the 2010 award season colour of choice. Though white is traditionally associated with bridal, these dresses are thoroughly modern and red carpet apropo. From cocktail to floor-grazing, simple to complex, check out the SAG Awards' most heavenly colour trend.
Beading, colour, draping, feathers and frou frou — it was all on offer at yesterday's Sag Awards. Overall I was quite impressed with the red carpet choices, particularly all the delicate draping and ornate embellishments featuring on gowns. Standouts were Diane Kruger, (props to her for making mustard look amazing), Marion Cotillard (her Elie Saab mini dress fit like a glove) and Drew Barrymore (loved the bust-detail), with honourable mentions also going out to Dianna Agron and Sandra Bullock. Is it just me, or did celebs show a lot more spunk on the red carpet last night at the Sags compared to the recent Globes? Don't get me wrong, both occasions showcased some amazing style, but I can't help but feel yesterday's soirée was a little more loose, unstructured and dare I say, a tad more fashion-focused? Jewel colours played a big part with lots of ladies choosing brights over black. They all looked hot dang, but who brightened up best?

Question — why is Nicole Kidman avoiding the red carpet lately? She seems to sneakily bypass the spotlight and turn up for her hosting duties and post-awards parties only. Fishy? Whatever the reason, she's still unmissable thanks to her striking outfit choices. Check out this Oscar de la Renta ethnic inspired gown teamed with chunky Fred Leighton jewels. If you look closely enough you'll notice gold sequins and intricate embroidery throughout. I'm impressed! You?

Diane made a marigold entrance in this draped, one shoulder stunner. Every bit the glamour girl, ruby and diamond jewels and crimson lips further her fabulousness. This exquisite gown is the work of her buddie Jason Wu, do you approve?
Anna Paquin is quickly becoming one of my favourite red carpet mavens this year. The actress strikes a pose in Alexander McQueen. I'm quite liking that wild print on her and the flirty length. Gold and black strappy platform sandals and a gold minaudiere are lovely accessories. Do you agree?
Marion Cotillard opted for Elie Saab for the SAGs. Good thinking because her one-shoulder beaded dress is totally flirty chic. White platforms and an emerald ring are snazzy accompaniments. Lovin' her side 'do, too! Do you love?
Rarely do you see emerald green in non-gemstone form on the red carpet and I don't understand why not! The Glee star's Catherine Malandrino gown is stunning. The ruffled sleeves and banded waist are totally flattering for the bold brunette. And I spy a matching emerald bracelet. Green with envy?
Drew delivers yet another dramatic red carpet look. The actress showed up wearing a strapless blue gown that looks like it could be a separate bustier top and skirt. The tiers are majorly eye-catching and I love the pleated dust detail. What do you make of Drew in blue?
