Cameron Diaz hiked up the hemline a few inches for her post-Oscars party frock. She swapped her Oscar de la Renta sparkle gown for something similar in colour but sleeker in style. I love the glitter-style fabric and pencil shape — it works well for her hot-to-trot figure. Her black accessories and lack of jewels all complement this sassy look. You lovin'?

Surprisingly this fail-safe colour was few and far between on the red carpet this year. The stars that did choose black opted for more embellished and detailed styles rather than the simple block colour. What a pleasant surprise! Who do you think wore the best black frock this year? Carey Mulligan in Prada, Tina Fey in Michael Kors, Nicole Richie in Reem Acra or Faith Hill in Roberto Cavalli?

Zoe Kravitz looked ultra sophisticated in this velvet and cream two-tone gown. Of course you can't go wrong with someone as cool as Precious cast member Lenny Kravitz by your side, either! She's playfully stacked a mix of Fred Leighton rings and bracelets to her look and left her decolletage bare. This is low-key yet striking — I'm quite a fan! You?

Don't worry, I can't stop staring at her boobs either. Blame it on the dress people. This Christian Dior Spring '10 couture gown should be lovely in theory — pretty colour, classic fishtail shape, gorgeous drapey train, but I just can't get past that bustline. Are they meant to be rosettes? Me no understand. Sorry Charlize, perhaps it'll grow on me. What do you guys think?

Demi Moore walked the red carpet in an Aterlier Versace Spring '08 couture gown. This blush, two-toned colour makes quite the statement thanks to the cascading ruffles and pleated bodice. We've seen similar styles to this before but Demi makes it look fresh and new thanks to her Van Cleef & Arpels diamond jewels and modern hairstyle. This is a clever mix of youthful yet age-appropriate. I quite likey, you?

I don't exactly know why Miley Cyrus is at the Oscars, but I'm so glad she turned up in this incredible Jenny Packham cream gown. The corset-style bust gives a lovely nod to the underwear as outerwear trend, and the scattered beading and tulle skirt is just so romantic. I can already see thousands of brides-to-be using this picture as their wedding dress inspiration! Love the jewelled cuff and chandelier earrings, too. Well done Miles, you've picked a winner! Do you agree?

One of my red carpet faves! I've been hanging for Carey Mulligan of An Education to make her way on the red carpet and she certainly hasn't disappointed! Check out this black Prada gown — if you look closely you'll notice the Swarovski beading is actually made up of mini-forks, knives, scissors and other tools. Quirky! I love the simple sweetheart shape and long train, and thanks to the shorter-front you can get a good glimpse of her black Prada heels. It's a winner in my eyes! Do you agree?

Amanda Seyfried chose the classic, fail-safe Oscars silhouette of a strapless, full-skirted ball gown. The Armani Prive dress is detailed with incredible bubble-wrap style crystals which lends a slight futuristic feel. Three embellished cuffs stacked on one arm and diamond-cluster earrings are her accessories of choice. I'm not madly in love but can't fault this. You?

Mariska Hargitay stepped onto the red carpet in a deep-blue strapless Vera Wang gown that makes quite the statement. Check out all the details, especially around the waist and on the hemline. A gorgeous tiered diamond necklace and bracelet lend further luxe to her look. What do you think?

Avatar's Zoe Saldana looked like quite the leading lady in this ruffled-edge Givenchy lavender-toned gown. Simple drop earrings, a matching purple cocktail ring and T-bar heels complete her look. I'm not sure what I think about the bedazzled bust line — a little too OTT for me, but the bottom half is red carpet perfection. What do you think of this Oscars look?
