Oz the Great and Powerful is out now in cinemas, but the red-carpet (or should we say, yellow brick road) glamour leading up to the film's premiere actually started weeks ago. To promote the film, Michelle Williams, Mila Kunis, and Rachel Weisz travelled around the world — Moscow, Tokyo, London, and Los Angeles, to be exact — bringing their individual brand of glamour to each city for the movie's debut. From understated Michael Kors and statement-making Lanvin to peacock-feathered Burberry and one sexy form-fitting Atelier Versace number, these starlets certainly turned up the evening elegance tenfold for Oz. See every moment from the promo tour right here.
Happy Birthday, Rachel Weisz! See Her Most Stunning Beauty Looks
Rachel Weisz may be currently known for her role as the witch Evanora in Oz the Great and Powerful, but the English actress's classic look has long been an inspiration to designer Narciso Rodriguez. And as a L'Oréal spokesmodel, Rachel has more than a few beauty tricks up her sleeve. She turns 43 this week, so we're celebrating by taking a glimpse back at some of her best red-carpet moments.
Rachel, Michelle, and Mila Go Strapless at Oz's London Premiere
Michelle Williams, Mila Kunis, and Rachel Weisz all travelled to London to promote their film, Oz the Great and Powerful, and each brought her styling A-game to the latest red carpet premiere. Rachel was understated in a nude lace Michael Kors number, Michelle was the boldest of the bunch in her peacock feather-embroidered Burberry dress, and Mila was undeniably feminine in a strapless ruffled gown. Before that, Mila and Michelle both exuded dark glamour at the Moscow premiere. Get a closer look at what they've worn so far inside.
James and His Oz Ladies Hit the Yellow Brick Road in London
James Franco had his leading ladies, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz and Mila Kunis, by his side on the yellow brick road carpet at the UK premiere of Oz the Great and Powerful last night. Rachel donned a nude Michael Kors gown to join her co-stars in London after they premiered the film in Russia without her the night before. James, Michelle and Mila got dressed up for the Moscow debut after a busy day of promotional appearances.
Although Rachel missed out on the fun in Russia, she did make the trek to Japan last week. Rachel and James popped up in Tokyo to premiere Oz last Wednesday, and they'll keep up their busy schedule as the March 7 release date nears.
James and Rachel Show Their True Colours at Oz's Tokyo Premiere
James Franco and Rachel Weisz turned up the glamour at the Japanese premiere of Oz the Great and Powerful in Tokyo last night. Rachel, who plays the Wicked Witch of the East, wore a red satin gown and covered up from the cold in a white furry jacket, while James embraced his Emerald City character in a green suit. They were representing the film in Japan since their co-stars were busy with appearances of their own in the States. Michelle Williams appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman in NYC last night to talk about her new movie and her life with Matilda. Meanwhile, Mila Kunis was busy in LA celebrating her new role as a Gemfields global ambassador.

The Ladies of Oz Team Up For a Glamorous March Cover
Oz: The Great and Powerful hits cinemas next month and the leading ladies of the classic children's story reboot are promoting the project with US InStyle's March issue. Rachel Weisz, Mila Kunis and Michelle Williams posed together for a glamorous shot and spilled about filming and family. Michelle touched on life with boyfriend Jason Segel while Rachel shared her favourite part of working with Michelle. Mila, who has been sticking close to Ashton Kutcher, talked about her tricky costumes. Here's more from Michelle, Rachel and Mila in InStyle:
- Michelle on Jason: "He is nice . . . I didn't actually realise who he was before I started dating him. I mean, I saw the Muppets movie, and I thought, 'Oh, that's cute,' but the truth is I didn't realise he made a lot of very popular, funny movies or was on a TV show. But maybe more important, I didn't realise he was so tall. I thought, 'Hey, man, you're cramping my style!' I tried wearing wedge heels for a while to compensate, but it wasn't me and I just gave up."
- Rachel on the best part of filming: "Michelle's daughter and my son are about the same age, so they went to camp together, and we took them bowling. It was really fun for me and Michelle too, because you don't get that many mummy playdates in our business."
- Mila on her costumes: "I spent a lot of the shoot in a leather corset, wired up in a harness, and flying around in a costume that weighed 10 pounds. I hear some women enjoy wearing a corset, but tell them to try 17 hours of that and then get back to me."
Daniel and Rachel Bundle Up to Battle an NYC Snowstorm
Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz ran into a small snowstorm during a trip to the gym in NYC on Monday. The couple protected themselves from the elements in warm jackets and snow boots. The weather was much different from the last time we saw Daniel and Rachel earlier this month, when they walked the red carpet together at the Golden Globes in sunny LA. Daniel attended the event to show support for Rachel, who was nominated for best actress, and Adele, who was up for best original song for the titular number from Skyfall. Although Rachel got bested by Jessica Chastain that night, Adele won for "Skyfall," marking her first Globes win. Daniel and Rachel will have a busy few months ahead of them with the release of Rachel's Oz: The Great and Powerful coming up in March.
