The weeks here at Sugar are sliding by so fast, we can't believe we're already ending our third week back! It's been a really big and busy week, with the Critics' Choice Awards last Friday and the Golden Globes on Monday taking over our minds and computer screens. In between scoping out all the amazing dresses and divine beauty looks, we were trialling new products that landed on our desks, picking up some fun deliveries (we love a good slogan tee!) and interviewing the lovely Rose Byrne at the premiere of her new movie, I Give It a Year. There was plenty more action — click through to check it all out and happy weekend, everyone!

Get Up Close and Personal With the Critics' Best Accessories
Straight off a day of all-out glamour at the Critics' Choice Awards, we're rehashing the event's big winners (as if we could love Ben Affleck or Jennifer Lawrence any more) and still drooling over the most glamorous accessories. Award season obviously brings out the big guns when it comes to jewels, bags, and heels, and last night was no exception with Harry Winston, Chopard, Brian Atwood, and Jimmy Choo (to name a few) accompanying our favourite looks down the red carpet. Some, like Naomi Watts's Irene Neuwirth earrings, offset their dresses perfectly, while others, like Leslie Mann's pink Tiffany clutch, played right into the gown's pretty colour palette. In every case, we can hardly imagine what these ensembles would be without their high-impact add-ons. Click on to get up close and personal with the night's best accessories right here.
Highlights From the 2013 Critics' Choice Awards Show!
The night was full of big wins for plenty of fan favorites at the 2013 Critics' Choice Awards in LA on Friday. Top winners included Ben Affleck, who won best director for Argo; Jennifer Lawrence, who picked up statues for best actress in a comedy and best actress in an action movie; and Anne Hathaway, who took home the best supporting actress honour for Les Misérables. Ben's Argo also won best picture, while Emily Blunt and Jopseh Gordon-Levitt supported Looper despite Skyfall beating it for best action film.
Jessica Chastain, Daniel Day-Lewis, Bradley Cooper, and Judd Apatow also had big evenings at the event. Judd nabbed a genius award for his contributions to the world of comedy, which was presented to him by Rebel Wilson, who earned big laughs for her speech. Other big moments included Quvenzhané Wallis flipping out her iPhone to read her speech when she took the stage to accept the award for best performance by a young actor or actress and Anne revealing that when she won best actress for Rachel Getting Married in 2009, they spelled her name wrong on the statue. Critics' Choice Awards Trend Alert: Old Hollywood Waves
On the Critics' Choice Awards red carpet, Old Hollywood waves were the theme of choice. Celebrities like Emmy Rossum, Naomi Watts, Jaime King, and Jessica Chastain wore flowing curls that harked back to the days of Veronica Lake. Each star's style was swept over the shoulder to play up the vintage feel. Emmy's and Naomi's curls hung a bit loose for a relaxed crimp, while Jaime and Jessica sported curlier versions. Each of these variations on retro red-carpet hair, however, did the original Hollywood starlets proud.
