Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson escaped to Mexico for a mini-getaway. The celebrity couple were spotted lounging poolside in their swimwear today, with Diane opting for a black and green bikini combo and hat. She also made sure her shirtless boyfriend stayed sun-safe by applying sunscreen to Joshua’s back. It appears as though the actors, who relaxed with wine and took turns dipping in the water, have chosen to spend their Thanksgiving outside the US. Last week they also holidayed in Rio, where they took some time out to walk around the city.

Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger went on a love-filled hike and a Vespa ride in LA yesterday. It seems that yesterday's hike went more smoothly for Josh, who took to his social media account to reveal a Twitter mishap during a similar outing earlier this month. After two nonsensical tweets of random letters and numbers showed up on his feed, Josh cleared up the confusion, explaining: "Note to self . . . Make sure cell phone is locked when hiking or you may send gibberish tweets that prompt good friends to question your sobriety."
Yesterday's hike may have been a bit of welcome downtime for Diane, who has had a big month. She turned 37 last week and had Josh by her side on the red carpet for her The Bridge premiere earlier this month.
Diane Kruger turns 37 today! The actress is best known for roles in Troy, Inglourious Basterds, The Host and now her new show The Bridge. On top of her acting credits, she’s also a red carpet fixture thanks to her much-loved sense of style, bold beauty, and her seven-year relationship with Joshua Jackson. Since getting together in 2006, Diane and Joshua have travelled the world (they divide their time between Paris and Vancouver) and been a constant source of support for each other, as illustrated by their united front at red carpet events — most of the time they’re also the recipients of best dressed couple honours thanks to Diane’s designer connections. And last week, Diane shared an anecdote of what happened the first time she brought Joshua home to meet her mother in Germany — it didn’t go down well!
To celebrate Diane’s birthday, we’ve compiled their adorable moments that have been caught on camera. Click through!
Diane Kruger's boyfriend, Joshua Jackson, had a very awkward encounter with her mother when she first brought him home to Germany. She revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night that her mother greeted Josh with his mug shot from his 2002 arrest and was grilling him on the events surrounding it. Josh was arrested for public intoxication and allegedly assaulting a security guard during a hockey game in Raleigh, but the charges were later dropped. Mamma Kruger's questions did not go over well with Diane, who said she didn't talk to her mum for the rest of her trip and even threatened to stop visiting her.
Despite the awkward encounter with her family, Josh and Diane are still going strong, and he was by her side at the premiere of The Bridge in LA on Monday. In the same interview, Diane also recounted the time she got massively star-struck — over Don Johnson. Watch that part of the interview after the break.
Diane Kruger got dressed up in a sheer green gown for the premiere of her new TV show, The Bridge, in LA yesterday. She had the support of her long-time love, Joshua Jackson, and the pair shared loving glances on the red carpet. Diane also posed with her other leading man, co-star Demián Bichir, to celebrate their FX drama, which will debut tomorrow at 8:30 p.m. In the new series from the writer and executive producer of Homeland, Meredith Stiehm, Diane and Demián play detectives on the hunt for a serial killer working on both sides of the Mexican border.
Along with appearing on the small screen, Diane also graces the cover of Marie Claire UK's August issue, in which she opened up about her love life — and skinny-dipping — with Josh. Of their relationship, Diane gushed: "There's never going to be a role that's more interesting than my own life. I'm grateful that I met a person who feels the same not just about me, but also about our relationship. But therapy helps, too."
Celebrities got into the US Memorial Day spirit when they stopped by producer Joel Silver's annual Memorial Day Malibu beach party yesterday. Guests included Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson, Gwen Stefani and her family, Sean Penn, Kate Beckinsale and Tobey Maguire, who was back in family mode after wrapping up a whirlwind world press tour for The Great Gatsby. The group partied at Joel's Malibu home, which included a giant inflatable slide that was set up right on the beach to keep the kids entertained. Joel's annual party has become a major event for Hollywood's biggest celebrities — past guests have included Selena Gomez, Courteney Cox and Tom Cruise.
Diane Kruger, Zoe Saldana and more starlets hit the Chateau Marmont in LA last night for a special dinner party held in honour of designer Prabal Gurung. Along with US Vogue magazine and MAC Cosmetics, Prabal invited a group of famous friends to celebrate his designs. Diane Kruger bared her stomach alongside boyfriend Joshua Jackson, while Ginnifer Goodwin had her boyfriend, Josh Dallas, and their Once Upon a Time co-star Jennifer Morrison for company. Prabal circulated around the event with the "wonderful as ever" Hailee Steinfeld and Star Trek Into Darkness co-stars Alice Eve and Zachary Quinto. Zoe Saldana made a stylist appearance alongside Amber Valletta and Jaime King. Rachel Zoe, meanwhile, brought husband Rodger Berman and later tweeted that they had "such a special evening!"
