Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner joined the rest of America in celebrating the nation’s Independence Day at a Fourth of July parade in their LA neighbourhood. The couple’s two daughters, Violet, 6, and Seraphina, 3, were dressed up in the patriotic stars and stripes theme, with American flag bows adorning Seraphina’s hair — and it was also their 4-month-old son Samuel's first public outing (that has been photographed)! He wasn't at the parade but joined the family for friend's party after. Ben and Jennifer, who has slimmed down since giving birth in February, matched in low-key white T-shirts and jeans, and Ben snapped away during the festivities. His latest directorial feature, Argo, will be released in Australia on Dec. 6.
Independent Woman: Celebrate the Fourth With the First Lady's Most Amazing Looks
America's first lady isn't just a super-cool mum and inspiring role model; she's a style maven, too. Michelle Obama is able to jump-start new health and dance-related initiatives, attend summits and galas around the world with her husband, take her kids to school, and look amazing as she juggles it all. From the ethereal Jason Wu gown she donned at Barack's inaugural ball to casual J.Crew separates and a custom-made Boy by Band of Outsiders dress, we love her signature style of mixing high and low brands. Her special attention to supporting new, young designers; her disposition to wear bright, bold colours; and her knack for showing off those amazingly toned arms are just a few more reasons why we love Michelle's style. In honour of Independence Day in the US, we've pulled over 60 of our favourite First Lady looks.
