Beauty Spotlight: Zoe Saldana's Best Looks Over The Years

Lately, we've seen lots of this lady — she's on the press circuit for Star Trek: Into Darkness, and she's been killing it every which way. Whether she's rocking a red lip (one of her makeup staples) or bouncing some flouncy curls, she always looks a million bucks. Ready for a beauty blast from the past? Come this way!
7 Steps to a Perfect Top Knot

The top knot trend seems like it's going to be sticking around for a while, and it's not hard to see why. The style is easy enough for everyday wear, keeps your neck cool, and can transition to a casual night out with just the addition of some bold makeup. But like all styles that look like they're not hard to do (hello, beachy waves), the top knot can be a little tricky to master. For a simple step-by-step to get this chic yet undone bun, just keep reading.
How to Fake a Professional Blow Dry at Home
When you stop into the salon for a professional blow dry, your hair just seems to behave better. Women with thick hair get the polished look they crave, while ladies with flat strands get the volume they desire. Save time and money with these at-home blow dry tricks that won't have you blasting your hair with heat either.
Full-on volume: If you just can't contort your arms into the perfect position to get a great blow dry at home, you're better off trying hot rollers. Roll large sections using medium to jumbo rollers. As they cool down, you'll get the same root-lifting effect of a round-brush blow dry (without all the exercise). Opt for a flexible-hold hair spray and brush through with your fingers, so the curls fall out for a more natural bounce.
Sleek and smooth: Let your hair air dry until 90 percent of the moisture is gone, then blow-dry hair with a round brush until sleek. Use a flat iron to smooth roots, and spritz hair with dry shampoo like Batiste Dry Shampoo ($8.49) as a finishing touch for the ultimate volume.
Home Hair Colouring: Would You Try DIY Ombré?

We spotted Lily Aldridge and two fellow Victoria's Secret Angles out for the Eight Annual What Is Sexy? 2013 Pink Carpet Party overnight in the US and it got us thinking about ombré hair. Still a huge trend on the celebrity scene, Lily's hair is the perfect example of how to rock the dip-dyed ends look, without going overboard. Last month, L’Oréal Paris released Preference Wild Ombrés, an at-home colouring system that gives real ombré results. Only question is, would you try DIY ombré? Or would you prefer to leave it to the professionals?
Beauty From the Street: Alexa, Emma & More Step Out
While it's all good and well to see our favourite celebrities on the red carpet looking beautiful, it's also nice to see them in their natural habitat, rocking equally natural beauty looks. We spotted Emma Stone getting lunch in New York wearing tonal lipstick, Olivia Palermo walking her dog with a high tucked ponytail and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looking chic with a straight blow dry at LA airport. See the girls up close, now!
Updated: Check Out Kate Middleton's Best Hair Looks
Being the Duchess of Cambridge means a lot of public appearances, and while many have been keeping an eye on her growing belly since the announcement that Kate is expecting her and Prince William's first child, we can't stop swooning over her gorgeous hair. And according to a recent poll done by Kérastase, Kate Middleton's mane came out on top as the most coveted hair in Britain. Also, the poll found that women's hair is at its best at age 29, because women have money to spend on their locks. At 31, we think Kate's brunette mane is quite envy-inducing, which we've seen styled with everything from bouncing curls to soft waves, and even bangs. We've rounded up her best blow dry looks over the years. So just keep clicking!

Ashley Benson's Easy Way to Dress Up Boho Braids

On the weekend at BottleRock, Napa Valley, CA, Ashley Benson showed off a chic braid that was fun and super easy to re-create. The actress wore a marigold rope wrapped around her two small braids, which she wore pinned back to either side. To get her look, start off with beach waves. Next, part your hair down the middle and braid a small front section of hair. Braid about halfway down and secure with a clear elastic. Then, tie a ribbon, rope, or bright thread at the base of the plait and wrap it around and tie at the elastic. Pull the braid back and secure with pins into the side of the hair. Repeat on the other side. Ashley may have rocked her look at a festival, but this colourful braided style is also a great option to disguise any Winter frizz or fly-aways you might have.
