Who Was Most Powerful at the Power of Women Luncheon?

After all the Emmys glamour earlier this week, it's refreshing to see some Hollywood ladies in luncheon attire.
After all the Emmys glamour earlier this week, it's refreshing to see some Hollywood ladies in luncheon attire. Applegate opted for a ladylike apple-green blouse and skirt team, Mario Bello went sleek in a white suit, January was a vision in a cool sheer detail LBD, and Anne brightened things up in an orange Lela Rose frock. Four distinct points of view; which is most powerful?

Ashlee Simpson's Cropped Chic: Love It or Hate It?

So we're still on the fence about crop tops?
So we're still on the fence about crop tops? Melrose Place maven Ashlee Simpson can maybe help sway. She worked the trend in the most precious way. Her black Carol Malony bra top combined with high-waist Malanrino tuxedo shorts prevents too much tummy reveal. A chic black blazer and pretty heels keep everything tasteful. Black-deco Paolo Costagl earrings add a unique flair, while her little cinnamon-bun 'do is totally now. What do you think of Ashlee's cropped chic? Take all of my Love It or Hate It Polls here! 2010 Spring New York Trend Alert: Return of the One Piece

2010 Spring New York Trend Alert: Return of the One Piece
Perfect timing. After this Summer, I decided I need a new one piece. Though I am a skimpy bikini girl at heart, there are times when a one piece is in order. Be it a swanky pool party or chillin' poolside with the fam, the return of the one piece is upon us. Brian Reyes sent out delicate seersuckers, Derek Lam posh loungers, even sexy fashion beast Herve Leger turned down the volume with a printed baby-blue laser-cut suit. If anyone can prove one pieces can be equally as sexy as two, it's Michael Kors and his clear plastic cut-out noir creation. If only I could have that model's chiseled cheekbones, too . . .

Choo, 24/7

Hot off the heels of their H&M Fall look book, Jimmy Choo has more shoe news.
Hot off the heels of their H&M Fall look book, Jimmy Choo has more shoe news. Goodie. The brand is launching Choo 24/7, a capsule collection of bestsellers updated with new colors and finishes. The 28-styles will be revealed this week at Milan Fashion Week then ready for the taking in January in Jimmy Choo stand-alone units and high end department stores. These won't be any cheaper than existing Choos — prices range from $395 for a simple flat to $1,200 for the Glenys gladiator stiletto (pictured). However, Jimmy Choo’s founder and president, Tamara Mellon, can help you rationalize that purchase: “We think of these shoes as investment pieces, timeless pieces, part of a wardrobe that every woman needs." Fab Read: Foam Magazine

There are so many fresh things about Foam magazine, where to begin?
There are so many fresh things about Foam magazine, where to begin? Based out of San Clemente, CA, the magazine is brimming with fashion, the ocean, art, and music. It's inspiration information for the beach-loving fashion art hound. It's hard to find, but take a flip through the digital version for an idea. The mag's website is cool, too. I particularly find its fashion and surf musings interesting; getting to know the latest surfer babes and their mantras is totally motivating. A flippy mag focused on fashion and surfing? Why didn't I think of that?

The Look For Less: Alexander Wang Shirt Dress

When I came across this Alexander Wang T-Shirt Dress ($395), it immediately went on my must list.

When I came across this Alexander Wang T-Shirt Dress ($395), it immediately went on my must list. I love the contrast between the slouchy top and the curve-hugging skirt, paired together forming one perfect design. It's an effortless dress-it-up, dress-it-down mini. The only snag — splurge city. Not to be discouraged, I went in search of something cheaper, but just as Fab.
