Stylist and designer Kym Ellery, together with The Grand Social, will host a live, in-store fashion shoot this Thursday December 3rd. Photographer Jeff Yiu and model Avril Alexander (Vivien's) will provide a rare, behind-the-scenes glimpse into a real life photo shoot, taking place in the temporary store's window and floor between 6 and 8pm.

Late night shopping, drinks and special offers will also be available as part of the MLC Centre's Destination Fashion Carnival, combined with The Grand Social's running calendar of pop up store events. The store has already held a makeover night offering complimentary beauty consultations, and will be featuring an in-store appearance and live window display with Bec & Bridge next week. Perth label Morrison keep on keeping on with the launch of their exciting new online store this month. The latest addition to the BRW young rich list, designers Kylie Radford and Richard Poulson started the brand in 2002 with a vision to create wearable clothes for real women, naming the brand after their beloved dog.

The Summer 09 'Absence' collection is featured on the site, as well as their luxurious line of basics, both focusing on classic and flattering styles rather than fleeting trends. Light organic linens and beautiful jersey knits in earthy tones are the perfect addition to any wardrobe. Adding to the five stores across Australia, a sixth Morrison branch will be opening this month in Sydney's Strand Arcade.
