Vogue Australia Launches Fashion's Night Out Shopping Event in Sydney

Anna Wintour and US Vogue may have kicked off Fashion's Night Out in New York last year, but this time round Sydneysiders are in for a treat with the event making its way to Oz in September. The worldwide shopping event, which will take place around 16 fashion capitals, aims to encourage retail spending in the CBD, namely, Pitt St, Martin Place and Castelreagh St in Sydney. An official launch will kick things off on September 9, where a mix of retailers, designers, fashion insiders and celebrities will help celebrate the Australian retail industry. Participating businesses are tipped to be pushing signage and special vouchers as part of their involvement soon. Kirstie Clements, editor-in-chief of Vogue Australia, said today: "We are looking forward to joining our Vogue sister publications by uniting Sydney CBD's designers, retailers, restauarants and bars for a fashion shopping event like no other."
