Trend Alert! Green Dresses at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards

Some really strong red carpet trends have emerged from today's Golden Globe Awards, and alongside pretty pink and delicate nude shades, emerald green has been an unexpected, but most welcome, new colour to step into the award season spotlight. The stars certainly embraced their inner green goddesses and took the plunge in shades of jade, forest green and emerald. Angelina Jolie dazzled in a sparkly emerald Versace gown, Catherine Zeta-Jones went all out in a full-skirted Monique Lhullier, Mila Kunis showed off her ballet body in a fitted Vera Wang one shouldered frock, and Elisabeth Moss stayed true to her name in a moss-coloured Donna Karan strapless dress.
