Monique Lhuillier to Design Footwear Collection for Fall 2013 Season: Snoop Her Sexy Shoes!

Monique Lhuillier is on a mission to dress you head to (pointy) toe. The American designer is known for her beautiful red carpet and bridal creations, but her expanding fashion empire — which now includes ready to wear, stationery, tablewear and fragrance — will also encompass a shoe line. Initially Lhuillier will release a 15 piece capsule collection, but a full range is pegged for a Fall (our Spring) 2013 drop date. The Italian-made creations will range from $595 and $1,195 USD in price, and true to Lhuillier's glamorous aesthetic will feature day, evening and bridal styles in exotic skins and lace detailing. Monique said of her footwear debut, "I wanted them to be sexy, feminine and glamorous." If this snakeskin sample is anything to go by, we think she's hit the nail on the head. You like?
