When it comes to celebrity hair and makeup looks we love, the awards season never fails us. In fact, it's been such a busy week for all our favourite beauties that we've had to bump our weekly top 10 round-up to 20 — yep, that's how good lookin' it's all been. In between the Golden Globes, where Miranda Kerr completely stole the show in her berry ensemble, the Art of Elysium Heaven Gala, where Revenge's Ashley Madekwe wowed with her clear skin and bright eyes, movie premieres and more, we were sitting pretty with a slew of amazing celeb looks to steal. And one thing was blindingly obvious: everyone loves a berry lip. Whether it's a bright pink strawberry tone, or the exact colour of a squashed mulberry, pink-toned lips still rule the beauty school. So many looks to steal, so little time! You better start clicking now . . .
The Sugar Diary: Our Week in Pics
The weeks here at Sugar are sliding by so fast, we can't believe we're already ending our third week back! It's been a really big and busy week, with the Critics' Choice Awards last Friday and the Golden Globes on Monday taking over our minds and computer screens. In between scoping out all the amazing dresses and divine beauty looks, we were trialling new products that landed on our desks, picking up some fun deliveries (we love a good slogan tee!) and interviewing the lovely Rose Byrne at the premiere of her new movie, I Give It a Year. There was plenty more action — click through to check it all out and happy weekend, everyone!
This Is 40: Comedy at Its Most Painful
This Is 40, Judd Apatow's latest directorial effort, warns audiences about the dangers of blinking, meaning if you close your eyes you risk waking up decades later, wondering how you got to be so darn old. In a more literal sense, I did blink while watching the film. In fact, I full-on closed my eyes at the sight of Paul Rudd spread eagle with nothing but a strategically place hand mirror covering his man parts; I cringed while Pete (Rudd) and his wife, Debbie (Leslie Mann), screamed at each other for the umpteenth time; I yawned, I scoffed, but as with most of Apatow's projects, I also laughed and related to the conflicted characters.
This movie is billed as the "sort-of sequel" to Knocked Up, but it's more like a spin-off, centring completely on Pete and Debbie's clan five years later. The kids (played by Apatow and Mann's real-life children, Maude and Iris Apatow), are growing up and acting out — if watching unhealthy amounts of Lost qualifies as acting out — and the whole family is hitting a palpable rough patch. The film's unflinching honesty about shifting family dynamics is one of its strengths, but it's also undoubtedly uncomfortable to watch as resentment curdles and touches every aspect of the characters' lives. Megan Fox Compares Fame to Being "Bullied" in Esquire
Megan Fox strikes a bombshell pose on the cover of US Esquire's February issue, but inside the pages of the magazine, she compares her experience as a celebrity to being bullied on a "global scale." Megan gave birth to her first child in 2012 and talks about working toward moving beyond her sex-symbol status, which she says made her feel "powerless," in the interview. She also reflects on her upbringing in the Pentecostal church, where she spoke in tongues alongside the other members of the congregation, and why she's rethinking some of her many tattoos. Here's more from Megan Fox in Esquire:
- On what it's like to be famous: "I don't think people understand. They all think we should shut the f**k up and stop complaining because you live in a big house or you drive a Bentley. So your life must be so great. What people don't realise is that fame, whatever your worst experience in high school, when you were being bullied by those ten kids in high school, fame is that, but on a global scale, where you're being bullied by millions of people constantly."
- On why she's removing her Marilyn Monroe tattoo: "I started reading about her and realised that her life was incredibly difficult. It's like when you visualise something for your future. I didn't want to visualise something so negative . . . She was sort of like Lindsay [Lohan]. She was an actress who wasn't reliable, who almost wasn't insurable . . . She had all the potential in the world, and it was squandered. I'm not interested in following in those footsteps."
- On speaking in tongues at church: "I have seen magical, crazy things happen. I've seen people be healed . . . It feels like a lot of energy coming through the top of your head — I'm going to sound like such a lunatic — and then your whole body is filled with this electric current. And you just start speaking, but you're not thinking because you have no idea what you're saying. Words are coming out of your mouth, and you can't control it."

The Best Highlights From the 2013 Golden Globes!
The 2013 Golden Globes were full of excitement and emotion in LA yesterday. Hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler kept the evening light with their jokes and antics, like Amy nuzzling with George Clooney in the audience and the two of them likening Kathryn Bigelow's short-lived marriage to James Cameron to "torture." Other stars also got some big laughs as well, including presenter Aziz Ansari, who pretended to be stoned from Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery's weed cookies. Sacha Baron Cohen gave a mini roast of his Les Misérables co-stars, when he joked about Anne Hathaway's infamous upskirt incident and sarcastically remarked that Russell Crowe's singing lessons in preparation for the film was "money well spent." Jodie Foster came out while accepting her Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award, moving many attendees to tears.
The show was also full of some big, surprising wins. Ben Affleck nabbed best director for Argo after getting shut out of the category for the Oscar nominations on Friday, and Argo also won best drama motion picture over Lincoln. Hugh Jackman picked up the best actor in a comedy or musical honour, beating out favourite Bradley Cooper. Most winners broke down into happy tears while accepting their awards, including Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway and Lena Dunham. Lena got particularly emotional while admitting that she had looked up to her fellow best actress nominees when she was younger and that they helped her get through awkward moments. Always quick to add a joke, nominees Tina and Amy joked that they were happy they could get the young Lena "through middle school." Be sure to check out the full list of Golden Globes winners and weigh in on your favourite styles in our red carpet fashion and beauty polls.

Megan Fox Gets Sexy at the Globes With Brian Austin Green by Her Side
Megan Fox chose a sexy Dolce & Gabbana gown for the 2013 Golden Globe Awards today. She arrived with husband Brian Austin Green, and the couple talked about their baby boy, Noah, on the red carpet. Although Megan is not up for any Globes today, she will be helping hand them out, as she is slated to present at the event. Either way, don't expect Megan to live-tweet her time at the Globes — the star announced last week that she was deleting her new Twitter account after one week of using the social networking site. She told fans on her Facebook page, "Love you guys but I will just never be that girl."

2013 Golden Globes: Megan Fox
It's hard to resist using her last name to describe her, but Megan Fox really is just that. The new mum always makes sure her signature long, brown hair works hard on the red carpet, and her Golden Globes beauty look is just perfect. She's relatively low-key on the makeup, with thick lashes and matte, nude lipstick. She has possibly the best brows in the business, and her nails are very Globes — neat and burgundy.
