Justin Timberlake got star support when he brought his 20/20 Experience tour to LA on Tuesday night. Matt Damon, Amy Adams and Justin's former bandmate Lance Bass all stopped by the gig at the Staples Center for a night of music with JT. Interestingly enough, Matt's pal and Justin's Runner Runner co-star Ben Affleck was not spotted at the concert, but we know he is a fan of Justin's music. While promoting their film back in September, Oscar winner Ben admitted that he feels insecure around Justin because he is so talented. "He dances like Michael Jackson, sings, writes music," Ben said. "There's 400 million boy bands and he's the one guy that became a gigantic star."
Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana, were dressed in sleek black ensembles for the Environmental Media Awards in LA on Saturday night. The couple stayed close as they walked the green carpet into Warner Bros. Studios for the event, which also brought out EMA futures award winner Hayden Panettiere and Glee star Darren Criss, who performed on stage during the ceremony. Matt was on hand to accept the ongoing commitment award for his environmental work over the years. The actor is a co-founder of Water.org and has promoted access to safe water and sanitation around the world. He also garnered praise from the industry when he starred in the 2012 film Promised Land, which highlighted the resource extraction process known as fracking. Luciana wasn't the only familiar face to show support for Matt — his Behind the Candelabra and The Informant! co-star Scott Bakula was also there to cheer him on during his big night.
From the underdog winning streak to the crazy after parties, the Emmy Awards certainly made for a memorable night in Hollywood. We've rounded up the best pictures from the evening, including quite a few moments you may not have seen during the telecast, like Sofia Vergara's sexy dance with Eric Stonestreet, Aaron Paul's photobomb of Bryan Cranston, Veep's winners Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Tony Hale basking in their victories, and more!
Matt Damon suited up in Giorgio Armani for the 2013 Emmy Awards in LA today. He was joined by his wife, Luciana, who shined on the red carpet in a gold Naeem Khan gown. Matt faced some fierce competition as he squared off against his Behind the Candelabra co-star, Michael Douglas, who took home the award for outstanding lead actor in a miniseries or movie. This isn't Matt's first Emmy nomination, as he was honoured for his guest appearance on 30 Rock in 2011 (maybe we'll see him link up with Tina Fey inside the ceremony?). He pulled double duty today when he and Michael introduced Elton John's Liberace tribute and also presented the outstanding lead actress in a miniseries award to Laura Linney.
Matt and Luciana got giggly in their front-row seats during Michael Douglas's acceptance speech. The actor thanked Matt onstage, saying that the movie was "a two-hander" and that he was planning on sharing the Emmy with his co-star, adding, "Do you want the top or the bottom?" Click through to see more of Matt's big night at the Emmys, and check back to see if he and Luciana pop up at any after parties!
