Now that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have their high-end line, The Row, and sassy sportswear collection, Elizabeth and James, the two decided to create a line with the throwback tomboy girl in mind. Their latest designer endeavour, called Textile Elizabeth and James, was inspired by their own jean collection and music muses, focusing on '70s-inspired denim with styles like the Hendrix, Stevie, and Joni. 
Right now, the collection is small, but the duo has plans to launch a complete collection for Fall '10. "We’re talking about the favourite things you want to wear with your jeans, like the ultimate flannel shirt," said Jane Siskin, of Elizabeth and James. The Olsens' denim offerings will be available in US departments stores in March. I must admit, these preview shots have left me slightly underwhelmed, how about you?
