Lily Collins Gets Glossy With Her Red Lip

It seems like there isn't a makeup look that Lily Collins won't try, but she also knows how to stick to the classics.

It seems like there isn't a makeup look that Lily Collins won't try, but she also knows how to stick to the classics. The actress showed up to WonderCon over the weekend sporting champagne shadow, glossy red lips, and her signature bold brows. Her heavily pigmented lip colour stood out against her otherwise matte look, creating a high-impact look that's easy to mimic. After achieving your perfect stand out brows and layering on a red lipstick, add some serious oomph with some crimson lip gloss. Stuck on which pigment is perfect? Try taking our skin tone quiz to find out whether to stick to blue-based reds (cool), or orange-based reds (warm).

On the (Chic) Horizon: 6 Style Stars to Keep Tabs on in 2013

When it comes to predicting "the next big thing," we've got a pretty good hunch about these six starlets, especially where acting and styling chops are concerned.

When it comes to predicting "the next big thing," we've got a pretty good hunch about these six starlets, especially where acting and styling chops are concerned. Our sartorial guess? This is going to be the year of Allison Williams, Lily Collins, AnnaSophia Robb, Alicia Vikander, Phoebe Tonkin, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. From silver-screen excellence to street-style cred, each offers up a style all their own, and we're more than a little excited to see what's in store for us (and them) this year. Will Girls' Allison Williams continue her reign as a red-carpet gown classicist? Are we going to fall for AnnaSophia Robb's younger Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City prequel, The Carrie Diaries? Is Phoebe Tonkin going to show Hollywood that Aussie women are a stylish force to be reckoned with? All questions have yet to be answered, but you can bet we've got our eye on all six of them, as they promise to impress us with their on- and offscreen panache all year long. Click on for a closer look at what's on tap for these leading ladies in 2013.

Lily Collins Goes For All-Out Moody Hues

Usually one to opt for more soft, girlie makeup and polished hair, Lily Collins strutted the British Fashion Awards red carpet sporting surprisingly dark makeup with grunge-esque hair.

Usually one to opt for more soft, girlie makeup and polished hair, Lily Collins strutted the British Fashion Awards red carpet sporting surprisingly dark makeup with grunge-esque hair. Taking the hot trends for Fall to the extreme, Lily paired her signature bold brows with black eyeliner and a deep berry lipstick to round things out. The whole look gave off a punk rock vibe, enhanced by Lily's dangly ear cuff and studded dress. Changing up your makeup seasonally is always a bold move, but what do you think of Lily's dark transformation?

Unsurprisingly, the British Fashion Awards drew an incredibly dressed crowd in London today. The official gongs went out to our new favourite face Cara Delevingne (in Burberry) who was named Model of the Year, Stella McCartney who nabbed both the Designer of the Year and Designer Brand of the year titles, while Alexa Chung took home the publicly voted British Style Award. Erdem was honoured with the New Establishment Award and Sophie Hulme picked up the Emerging Talent Award for accessories. On the frock front there were some clear winners. Our top points go to Chanel model/muse Edie Campbell who looked peachy keen in Christopher Kane, Rita Ora who shone in Vivienne Westwood and Pixie Geldof in scarlet satin. Get a good look at who wore what at for fashion's night of nights in London-town. . .

A slew of UK celebrities got glamorous for the 2012 British Fashion Awards at the Savoy Hotel in London last night. Alexa Chung added another fashion-related trophy to her growing collection when she picked up the public-voted British Style Award, while Stella McCartney was a big winner, taking home designer of the year and designer brand of the year, and Cara Delevingne received the model of the year honour. Rita Ora, who just celebrated her 22nd birthday, was the epitome of elegance in an aquamarine Vivienne Westwood gown, Salma Hayek shimmied down the red carpet in a fringed black dress, and Lily Allen, who's pregnant with her second child, was glowing in a pleated midnight blue gown. American actress Lily Collins was also at the event and she made her red carpet debut with her boyfriend, British actor Jamie Campbell Bower — sparks flew when they met on the set of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

From Chanel's The Little Back Jacket event all the way to the CMT Music Awards in Nashville, we saw (and loved) a variety of celebrity beauty looks this week. We're loving Emma Stone back as a blonde, and even though she might have a little help in the hair department, we can tell she looks after her light tresses. Solange Knowles looked demure with a pastel pink lip at the CFDAs, and Kristen Bell went for light blue eyeshadow with just a hint of glitter for the music awards. Who Had The Best Dressy Bun This Week?

We've seen a variety of undone topknots this season, but this week, it was all about the polished bun.

We've seen a variety of undone topknots this season, but this week, it was all about the polished bun. While sleeker than its laid-back cousin, the pristine pin-up is just as cool, especially since it can be positioned in a variety of ways. Lily Collins, for example, wore the chic style in a voluminous puff that spanned from the crown to the occipital bone, while Zoe Saldana situated hers somewhere in between. Busy Philipps moved her bun closer to the face, though, so that it peeked out straight from the top. All three looks are as classy as they come, but which one gets your vote in this week's poll?
